Easter Sunday is upon us, and with it comes tons of events and activities. For those of you who are still unsure of what to wear, why not consider Spring 2014’s Pastel Trend?
For a little real style inspiration, behold a few chic examples of how you’ve rocked the look.
Shayla from AllThingsSlim.com rocked maternity style to the hilt in a sweater and skirt combo topped off by a pastel colored coat. Totally adorable!
Zeinabou aka @theshoegawker went the casual chic route with her ensemble, opting for YSL pumps and a zebra print bag. She stated, “A pastel suit in a light fabric is my perfect option for spring!” We agree!
Krystin of the blog Be Loud Be You kept it cute in a “vintage Mugler Top, Nasty Gal Skirt, and Jean-Michel Cazabat Sandals.”
Charnele of ChaChaTheFashionGenius.com popped a pastel pink peplum top with jeans and red sandals.
Marche, the blogger at Robinson Style, paired a pink pastel mini dress with red pumps.
@Rallydfashionfanatic chose to color block her pastels, topping her look off with neutral sandals. Cute!
@Agexclusive paired her blue pastel colored accordion pleat skirt with a tank, white bag, and peep toe shoes.
@Sashabasha2 was the definition of adorable in a comfy dress, cardigan, and flats from Zara. Is anyone else experiencing hair envy? Cute!
And lastly, we have Londyn @Londynkouture who stated, “I took the pastel trend for a spin wearing my Miu Miu trench coat as a dress. I paired my coat-dress with a pastel pink mid-waist belt and heels to achieve a modern but classy monochrome look.” Can’t go wrong with a little creativity. I’m here for it!
So there it is! Next week we’ll highlight your fabulous interpretations of the Rainbow Trend (think Chanel SS2014). Forward submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org for possible inclusion in the Spring 2014 Trend roundup. Keep it cute!
Until then, what do you think of these submissions?
