While the Big Apple is experiencing the first bouts of Spring weather, fashion week is going down in Sydney, Australia! Jayson Brunsdon just showed his Spring/Summer 2014/2015 collection (yes the Australians get a bit tricky with their seasons, brimming with sultry cutout detailing, seasonally-perfect maxi dresses, crop tops, and swimsuits.
The lineup was tinged with metallics, from girly copper flare dresses mimicking snakeskin to a gold collarless jacket that was perfect for those tricky seasonal transitions.
Cutouts and keyholes are here to stay and Brunsdon made that very clear on flirty frocks. If the price points are right, these could be huge retail hits for ladies down under, as well as the globe’s most stylish.
The brand continued the sultriness for evening with a slew of styles with plunging necklines — high on glamour and sex appeal and not for the faint of heart. Stylish ladies like Naomie Harris, Olivia Munn, and Shay Mitchell have a penchant for exposed décolletage, thus I can definitely see all three in these designs.
My favorite pieces in the collection were of the bright and embellished ilk — sequin-adorned mini skirts, furry crossbody bags, and mixed-texture frocks. These pieces were unique and definitely need to be added to my wardrobe STAT.
What do you think of the latest from Jayson Brunsdon?
