The Fashion Bomb News Breakdown: Bill O’Reilly Scandalized By Beyoncé’s ‘Partition’ Video, Anonymous Model Reveals Identity After Coming Forward About Terry Richardson Abuse, and Target Apologizes for Botched Photoshop Job
By The Fashion Bomb Staff

• You can pretty much expect there will be pressed parties anytime Beyoncé does… well, anything. It’s only natural. But who would have thought that King Bey’s antics would spark the ire of right wing pundit Bill O’Reilly? The Faux Fox News anchor expressed *GRAVE CONCERN* over Bey’s sexy “Partition” music video (three months later, though? #lateboots), for its raunchy imagery. “That’s art?!” He exclaimed,  “Beyoncé in the back of a limo having sex and referencing Monica Lewinsky, is art?”, asking his guest, Russell Simmons to explain why a black woman would make a music video about having marital sex with her husband in the back of a limo, when there is such a high rate of unplanned pregnancies amongst “girls of color” who “idolize” her. Chile… I simply cannot with miss Bianca O’Reilly‘s pearl-clutching this afternoon. I’ll let you guys take this one. Peep the clip above and let us know what you think in the comments. (Rolling Stone)

Branche Marie Claire • Marie Claire‘s launched a pop-up magazine, Branché, which will hit the streets in New York City today, and be distrubited by Hearst today, tomorrow, and Saturday, as well as Monday, and Tuesday next week. The 40-page mag is an insider’s guide to NYC, with deets on cool places to eat, interesting things to see, and of course, a healthy dose of fashion. Alexa Chung covers this inaugural issue, and Marie Claire editor-in-chief Anne Fulenwider says they will release another edition of Branché this fall. The mag will be distributed in SoHo, Williamsburg, and Times Square. Anyone plan to pick up a copy? (WWD)
• The anonymous Reddit user who posted a horrifying account of sexual abuse she experienced at the hands of creep photographer Terry Richardson has come out to reveal her identity exclusively to Vocativ. Charlotte Waters, who was 19 at the time of the abuse, recounts the experience with Richardson, who she said did not even pay her after the shoot in which he performed sexual acts on her. “It’s hard not to look back at this stuff and see that I was a rapist’s dream, completely naive and trusting, but passive and shy on top of that,” she said. Read the whole thing over at Vocativ. (Vocativ)
Xhiliration Bikini Target Photoshop Fail Closeup • Target has issued an apology for the horribly botched Photoshop job that went viral this week of a young lady modeling one of their Junior’s bikinis. If you remember, the her thighs were slimmed down in attempts to create a thigh gap–except it looked more like the graphic designers took a square KidPix eraser to the poor model’s crotch, leaving her ladyparts in shambles. The retailer released a statement to address the misstep. “In response to your query about the swimsuit image on, this was an unfortunate error on our part and we apologize. We have removed the image from our website,” adding that the gaffe was “the result of a photo editing error on our part.” (Fashionista)

  1. KBS says:

Bey is dead wrong for that get up. SMH

  2. Vanessa says:

Jihan, I understand this is a blog but in a “news” segment you should stick to the news and not your opinion. You report unbiased “fashion news” in the other 4 topics except the Beyonce one which came off as one of those Instagram tweegrams. Tasteless.

  3. Blue Ivy Carter says:

Oh please!!! HAVE A SEAT!! The girl is married!!She can have sex in the back of the car with her HUSBAND whenever she like. How many unmarried females have had Monica Lewinsky all on their gown / blouse? Alot!! Go somewhere with that…before Jay-Z merks on you

  4. Anonymous says:

I believe a lot of people are uncomfortable with Beyonce because she is SO sexy that it makes other feel umcomfortabe because they, themselves are uncomfortable with their own sexuality. Looking at Beyonce looking like that you cant help but a feel some sort of “way” because she looks so damn good….if she didnt like half as good as she does it would be no big deal.

  5. lmao says:

I’m just too weak @ Bianca O’Reilly! lol oh Jihan

  6. Anonymous says:

And I also think it’s great that Beyonce is showing that you can be super sexy without huge breast and a huge butt, so many girls think they need that to be attractive. Furthermore woman need to take note and realize that after you have baby you still can be sexy and still have great sex, sometimes woman lose themselves too much and thats why their husband “loses”interest.

  7. Disappointed says:

I couldn’t agree more with Bill.. Very disappointed in Bey…I think people trying to justify her behavior by saying she’s just talking about sex with her husband and things that many married and unmarried women do is laughable. Yes, sex is a part of life and we all do it but it, but we all poop too.. Guess that means someone should put out a song about that too because they should be free to express themselves and talk about life.. Its called class and the gift of discernment..There are way too many other relevant topics to write music about.. Sorry Bey but you’re no role model for me, and to top it off you have a daughter now..way to go on setting the stage that as a woman she’s more than her sexuality

  8. ... says:

Bill, have several. Parents need to be parents. If little girls are looking up to entertainers it’s because they have no role models in the home. There are a lot of parents these days who are allowing TV, internet, social media, etc. to teach the lessons they should be teaching and then trying to place blame on entertainers. You can’t get mad at Beyoncé for expressing herself through her craft, which was labeled “explicit”, that you allow your children to experience. She said she was doing this for her older fan-base/audience. And an older fan-base/audience is out here having sex, pre-marital or not, and maybe even in the back of a car.

  9. Regis says:

    Hopes shane wins!

  10. NickieLuv621 says:

I am now a 40 something and I heard the same “the high rate of teen pregnancy among young AA women…yada yada yada!! since I was a teen and the big sensation then was Madonna, Vanity, Appollonia, etc. Same comments 20+ yrs later…Get over it already!!! Humans will have sex and have children…married or unmarried, with or without the aide of a tv or entertainer.

  11. nikki says:

I don’t get that whole she is a role model thing either. All these doctors and teachers and Jesus and you pick a person who pretends(actor&actress) who sings other people words(singer)to be a role model..What qualifies people to be role models. So wreacking ball encourages people of color to have unwanted sex and have babies out of wedlock..No your own choices decides that.If your parents are putting it down than thats who you should model after. Not a person who has a team to put them together to be a role model.I wish my son tellme lil wayne his role model.I would go oops upside his head.

  12. nikki says:

Also why the heck is he asking Russell Simmions about a black women like he is the spokesperson for women. How about you ask Beyonce why she did that song.So every artist is responsible for unwanted pregnacies and all the other issues in the world..Stop throwing blame on others and let those of “color” take reponsbility. If these girls want to mirror Beyonce then they would have a career then get married and then have children. Why he talking about a song instead of her real life..

  13. Anonymous says:

Being married is not a license to invite the public into your private quarters

  14. Est87 says:

Why are people using up their energy to get mad a bill O’Reily? I mean really? The man and his “news” team are well known agitators against anything non-white, capitalist. The only people they’re pandering to are those who already uphold the same ignorant believes. People are really getting defensive over this idiot. I wouldn’t have even posted this story….

  15. S says:

While I do agree with the previous comment…”Being married is not a license to invite the public into your private quarters”…..I will say, why is Bill O’Reilly concerned? Like he (of all people) Really gives a damn about teen pregnancy in the black community. Of course he doesn’t.

Also, for years people have said Beyonce is robotic. She doesn’t act natural, she doesn’t show emotion, she and Jay show no affection, etc, etc. Now, she’s opened up the door to her “human nature” and people are like…”it’s too much.” I say the public should make up its mind about the kind of artist they want the girl to be or look in another direction. Because She has said, unequivocally, that she’s a “grown woman.”

Bottom line….Bill probably wishes his name was Mr. Carter.

  16. Hello says:

Oh so the partition video is gonna raise teen pregnancies in the black community? Bill is getting early dementia and needs to retire

  17. Taatha says:

This entire network specializes in sensationalized manufactured “news”, and I use that term lightly. TMZ is a more legitimate news source than Fox News. Billy Boy is just throwing his white, ultra conservative, intolerant, right wing demographic/base a little red meat to chew on. What else are they going to do? Focus on real issues?

  18. Adonis says:

This is absolutely ridiculous. Beyonce worked hard while still a teenager, made a career and a name for herself, got married to a man who treats her like a queen, & still didn’t rush to have children, when they got to a place in life where they felt ready, they began trying for a baby. Boys & girls, you want a role model? This is how you do it. Put everything into perspective. Beyonce’s album is for adults – not little girls. It’s clearly marked Explicit. The message she is sending to other WOMEN is that just because you’ve become a mother doesn’t mean you have lost your sexuality. And she’s right. It’s total BS. When a man becomes a father, he’s never pressured to surpess his sexuality and neither should a woman.

  19. Jessy says:

I laughed when I saw this story pop up on the O’Reilly factor the other night. Anyone associated with the Obamas is fair game for conservatives (no matter how irrelevant it is to politics).

  20. Jaz says:

First, whether we agree or not, the youth of today do look up to entertainers as role models, more than any other profession, so you can’t put everything on parents (but most things) on parents because once your child leaves your presence they are surrounded by many things outta of your control. Because, you can raise your kids rights, but once they out of your presence, it is up to them what they listen to or not. Because, I was raised in a good home, parents would not like me watch or listen to things not for my age, but I still got my hands on explicit things. SO you can’t blame the parents or Beyonce because kids will be kids, and are always going to get into things beyond their age.

I understand Beyonce is a grown married women, and she is showing her sexual side, but there is a difference in showing your sexual side and what Beyonce is doing. Also, it is called CLASS and that is one thing Beyonce is lacking in some areas, she is a very common woman. Because you can be sexual without having to be half naked with your legs open wide in a bikini almost, which is Beyonce. And I think the reason I say Class is because of her age, and because she is married with children, at what age do you strive for classiness and not foolish mistakes of your twenties.

  21. Jos says:

Nobody should be your model if not yourself. We are all different with our strengths and our weaknesses. I have no idol because it’s the best way to compare with others. But I stil can estimate and recognize the work of others.
So stop having idols, be your own idol. I don’t make the apology of narcissism or egocentricity but just of self-esteem.
Beyoncé is very beautiful, talented and she has the right to do what she wants. But, I didn’t wait her to do sexy videos and songs to know that I can be a mother and a wife at the same time.

  22. Next says:

Lol… I think it’s interesting that people are soooo caught up with the womanism of Beyonce when most of her songs have to do with pleasing her man and pleasing the household. She shows it more though her act than in her art, which brings me to the next point . Her art would be more intriguing if it didn’t seem soo forced I feel like her feelings are less authentic than her team encouraging her sell sex along with the others

  23. Layioni says:

I think the role of a role model has been rather corrupted. I blame it on the fact that we have way too much access to these celebrities.

A role model is not supposed to be someone that you want to be a replica of, but someone who’s success in a certain field/aspect you admire and aspire to achieve – like a reminder that such success is possible. Nelson Mandela is considered a role model to many because of what he achieved for South Africa, but he had flaws too, he didn’t always make the right decisions and didn’t live like a saint. And we know this.

I therefore believe that yes, Beyonce’s success has made her a sort of role model but no one should be looking at her videos and think “I want to do what she’s doing in this video”, or “I want to do what she’s singing about”. If they are thinking like that, then they need to have a seat and re-evaluate their lives. If you’re not going to walk around smoking cigarettes because Mandela did, why should you have unprotected sex in the back of a car because Beyonce sang about it? You know there are consequences for such actions.

That being said, it’s not the celebrities to blame for and increase in teen pregnancies and what not, it’s the individuals who get involved in these things themselves (among other factors such as education).

People need to remember that the entertainment industry is just that, entertainment. It’s not a place to go looking for mentors.

  24. Anonymous says:

In an overly sexed world. When was she supposed to open up? Sheesh! Her music has never really been for kids. And while the masses may think she the most beautiful or whatever. I am a grown ass woman, that Chile ain’t taught me nothin I hadn’t properly practiced n mastered on my own level. Get it Bey U big ole Freak! Oh, and she’s officially on “Parental lock”.Cuz that song is for Mama! And, fyi Hov says “it’s the ish” while my man lets me know “it’s the best!” #soberinlove #grainingonwood #rainingonwood

  25. Anonymous says:

And lets not forget Bey danced around in a one piece leotard for about 3 years. . She’s doing her and nobody clowned Katy Perry that hard for Kissing girls and Liking it..and still put that song on Just Dance for kids

  26. katie says:

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I agree with bill. As for the Terry Richardson, I hope FBD will stop featuring him and his work after this. He’s a sick individual. I model should sue if possible.

  27. Jessy says:

Heh, apparently the masses are feeble and weak-minded followers that can’t think for themselves– no one’s insulted at this insinuation?

America has a long, puritanical history with sexual repression, which makes it more “taboo” (and in turn, more interesting). There’s nothing wrong with being a sexy woman. Own it. I see so many women in my dance class that are so uncomfortable with seductive dancing and feeling confident in their skin because of what they’ve been taught–to be ashamed of bodies, and naked people and sexy things!

As for the kiddies, be a parent to your children instead of placing them in front of the TV. Enroll them in sports or art instead of letting them lounge around all afternoon eating Cheetos and watching TV. Be confident that you’ve instilled solid values into them (that means you have to, you know, spend time with your kids instead of being so self-involved). Personal responsibility FTW!

I wish i could see O’Reilly’s face when he gets to hell, but i’ll be in heaven so.. i’m sure he’ll eat all of his racist words

  29. Veronica Lodge says:

Who cares. Beyonce sold out by her second album and turned dark. Follow your queen to hell.

  30. AKM says:

I can’t with some ppl. Opinions are like a**es, everybody has them…with that being said my opinion if you don’t like the overly sexualized nature of beyonce album…dont listen. No one told you to watch the videos. If you are worried that your female chile will be exposed to some topic that she should not…dont let her buy the album and don’t buy it for her. We have to be responsible for the upbringing of our own children. Bill is placing too much emphasis on entertainment and bey as a role model for young girls and not enough on the responsibility of parents in raising their children.

…. Bill need to take several seats and I was weak at the pearl clutching…i can’t hahaha

  31. Jaznea says:

She is singing about being comfortable having sex with her husband while the same men ranting about this are at home jacking off to porn. Now how about that, like when women get dirty in porn but they be damned if their wife hears a singer talking about sex. Or God forbid their daughter might have sex one day, Jesus take the wheel. They like to see women get objectified by men but if she puts herself out there then she is dirty. Please grow all the way up!
Seriously we are all adults and here. men have ways to express their sexual desire and so do woman, don’t like it then don’t listen plain and simple. And if your young child is listening to this then maybe you need to put better restrictions on her ass and stop blaming celebrities for your child’s future!

P.S. I didn’t listen to the video but I figured they had some dumb shit to say as always so I’m going to just comment on what I have heard before.
