Look of The Week: Lupita Nyong’o, Jennifer Lopez, Ashley Madekwe, and More!

Thank goodness for awards season! This time of year brings us so many chic (and a handful of questionable) looks, it’s hard for us to choose a favorite. Good thing we have you guys to do it for us! Check out the best outfits from the past seven days.

Jennifer Lopez in Tom Ford:
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Jennifer Lopez loves her a good bodycon dress, and the 44-year-old looks so good in ’em, we have to give her props every time. We were loving this slinky, printed high-collared Tom Ford number she chose for the American Idol XIII Premiere.

Lupita in Nyong’o in Ralph Lauren
Lupita Nyong’o topped several best-dressed lists for this week’s Golden Globes in this fiery red Ralph Lauren Spring 2014 cape dress. The hair and makeup are absolutely impeccable, and I think this is a look that will go down in awards show history! We can’t wait to see what she rolls out for the SAG’s and Oscars!

Ashley Madekwe in Roksanda Ilincic
Ashley Madewe’s colorful Roksanda Ilincic gown brightened up InStyle‘s Golden Globes post party this week. The Revenge actress mixed high and low, accessorizing the piece with a winged cuff from BaubleBar. We love the clean styling, slicked back hair and natural makeup–it really let the dress speak for itself!

Cate Blanchett in Armani
Another critic’s pick for best dressed at the Golden Globes was Cate Blanchett in this Armani Fall 2013 couture gown. The delicate lace, sheer elements, and plunging back was the perfect choice for the occasion. Seriously stunning!

Christie Brinkley in Balmain
Christie Brinkley is 59… 59, ya’ll! The model doesn’t look a day over 40, and pretty much blew everyone else who wore this frock totally out of the water. She showed up all those young girls at the NBC and Time, Inc.’s fête to celebrate the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue’s 50th. Werque!

Camila Alves and Matthew McConaughey in Dolce & Gabbana
We’ve never had a couple on our Look of The Week list, so congrats to Camila and Matt for making the cut together, each in Dolce & Gabbana at the Golden Globes. We loved Matt’s velvet jacket, and Camila was simply a vision in that sparkly black-and-white gown.
There you have it! Who gets your vote this week?
