Pre-Fall is a transitional season, but Wren’s Melissa Coker isn’t concerned with the brisk temperatures of Fall in her latest collection for the season. It’s all about the last remnants of Summer, thus airy and relaxed separates are at play: some of which can be layered with jackets and trousers when that autumnal chill sets in.
The mini dress selection is plentiful, further reiterating the easy vibe. Birkenstock-esque sandals and black and white trainers anchor the frocks.
Drawstrings accent printed rompers, thigh-baring track shorts, and cropped silky trousers, injecting a dose of sporty chic.
Wren hasn’t gained too much red carpet traction, but there are a few looks here that I think can work for a photocall or afterparty. Sky-high black platform, peep-toe shoes make a great case when paired with a white, ruffle layered hem, polka dot blouse and printed shorts, while a cutout button-front dress will look killer with a sleek ponytail and strappy sandals.
Are you feeling’s Wren’s latest collection?
