• Yesterday, DKNY shot the campaign for their Spring 2014 collection in Times Square, giving us fashion nerds an idea of what to expect from the ads. Jourdan DunnCara Delevingne, and Eliza Cummings have been tapped to front the campaign, photographed by Mikael Jansson. Also in tow was A$AP Rocky and skater Dylan Rieder. Can’t wait to see how the whole thing turns out! W• Becuase Macy‘s employs robots who have no desire to spend time with their families on Thanksgiving night, the retailer has announced plans to open 750 of their 800 stores at 8pm that same evening, to get a head start on the Black Friday madness. Macy’s cites “customers being interested in starting their holiday shopping early,” as one of their reasons for the decision. After all, opening at that hour “is consistent with many other retailers that open for business on Thanksgiving Day.” Anything to uphold a broken culture of consumerism, I guess… Any Macy’s workers out there? Would love to hear your thoughts on this one. (WWD)

Christopher Bailey is about to get a nice little raise– the Burberry chief creative officer is taking on the role of CEO at the label, while keeping his current title in tact. Bailey says he is “humbled to be asked to take on the CEO role at this company that means so much to me. I also feel privileged to be keeping my role as chief creative officer.”  Bailey is set to replace Angela Ahrendts, who is leaving Burberry to join the folks at Apple. (WWD)

• Respected fashion journalist Eric Wilson is leaving the New York Times, to sign on to InStyle magazine for the newly-created position of fashion news director. “I’ve been doing fashion journalism for 17 years and I love it so much but I wanted to figure out what would make sense for the rest of my career,” he told WWD. “When I talked to [Ariel Foxman, InStyle editor-in-chief] about this, what he had in mind for the position and what I had in mind for my career were the same.” Wilson is expected to start at the glossy November 18th.  • First Lady Michelle Obama certainly has good taste when it comes to movies! Fashionista reports that our fair FLOTUS ordered a copy of Mademoiselle C, the Carine Roitfeld documentary to the White House for a screening. It is one of the first French films to be screened at the White House. Ooh la-la! I wonder what she thought of the flick? (Fashionista)
