Though the Nineties are back, Alexander Wang has been a champion of the decade’s aesthetic from his brand’s inception. He delved deep into the stylish era for his latest collection for Spring 2014 with bouts of minimalism, loads of leather, bare midriffs, and kitschy logos.
Keep those abdominals toned ladies because crop tops have come around yet again, in true ’90s fashion. Though given a more sophisticated flair by chopping off the bottoms of button-front shirts or adding a peekaboo cutout to a sleek topper, the bottom halves of the ensembles were always fun whether with menswear-inspired knee length shorts or sexy mini skirts.
“Parental Advisory Explicit Lyrics” and the A. Wang logo were emblazoned on oversized t-shirts, sheer panel sweatshirts, sheer latticework sweaters, high-waist pencil skirts, and more. You know the fashion set cannot wait to get their well-manicured hands on these pieces!
