If Holly Golightly were taking a vacation to the Serengeti this December, Dean and Dan Caten would have her wardrobe covered. With ’50s silhouettes in mind, the design duo cook up a delightful resort offering with a penchant for Old Hollywood glamour.
The safari influences are obvious, with utilitarian pockets on sporty button downs and trenches rendered in camel and hunter greens. But nipped waistlines and full skirt silhouettes brought a ladylike touch to Dean and Dan’s gaming huntress.
The gowns are definite crowdpleasers for those looking to live out a “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” fantasy for a night.
What’s not to like? You can’t go wrong with flattering shapes and a generous helping of sex appeal. Taylor Swift could toughen up her look with one of the full leather skirts, and Kim Kardashain might fancy the belted trench dress.
What do you think?
