Happy Thursday everyone!
It’s officially Spring, though the weather in NYC doesn’t feel like it. Clearly, groundhogs are not trustworthy sources for weather-related information.
This certainly was an interesting week in celeb style, with a smattering of faces (both new and old) and an array of looks from quirky with fur pom poms to casual in hoodies and sneakers.
Check out the most noteworthy looks:
Beyoncé took to Canal Street in NYC in a printed Kokon to Zai hoodie, denim, and her favorite Isabel Marant Bekkett Sneakers. Sitting your behind on Canal Street steps = bolder than this NYC girl has ever been.
While traipsing through LAX Airport, gal pals Kim Kardashian and Rachel Roy kept it casual in neutral tones. I’m feeling Kim’s $2,495 Prabal Gurung Stretch Wool and Silk Chiffon Tuxedo Jacket and $280 Givenchy Embossed Rubber Grommet Sandals.
Rob Kardashian adopted a new longer hem trend for men, and was spied leaving Emerson Night Club in LA in a $425 Fear of God LA Essential Short-Sleeve Hoodie. Guys, would you rock this?
Rita Ora couldn’t be missed in Tokyo for the city’s Fashion Week in her favorite $1,495 Jimmy Choo Mogul Studded Suede Cage Sandals and a powder blue flare dress, accented with black fur pom poms. It might be safe to say that Rita’s quirky style fits right in with Tokyo fashions!
Brad Goreski, Garcelle Beauvais, and Kobe Bryant posed together at the celebration for Hublot’s new brand ambassador (who just happens to be Kobe) in LA. They all look fantastic, though I would have loved a metallic shoe on Garcelle instead of her monochromatic choice.
Christina Ricci was spotted at Blackberry’s Z10 Launch fête in a $246 Clover Canyon Cool Rider Pencil Dress. Cute! Such a great dress for Spring, no?
At the AMC Mad Men Season 6 Premiere in LA, Teyonah Parris stole the show with larger than life hair, a black and gold embellished dress, and strappy cage sandals. Is she beautiful or what?
Linda Johnson, Tom Joyner, and Desiree Rogers were spotted at the 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fashion Fair party in Chicago. My notepad is always ready whenever Mrs. Rogers makes an appearance!
Who doesn’t love a Thandie Newton sighting? She gave a pop to an all-black ensemble with a star print blouse and blue pumps.
At the Hollywood premiere of Olympus Has Fallen, Tasha Smith looked quite lovely in a printed drape dress with an asymmetrical hem and pair of leather ankle booties.
Cookie and Magic Johnson were also at the premiere. Cute couple!
Leopard print and exotic skins came together for Heidi Klum’s America’s Got Talent Auditions look in San Diego. She didn’t really need the belt here did she?
We haven’t seen JoJo in awhile and the songstress looked great at the iHeartRadio “2020″ Album Release Party in LA.
Emilia Clarke tried on the white pump trend for size at the Broadway Opening Night Party of Breakfast At Tiffany’s. The makeup is a little too much for me here, but I am head over heels in love with her Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2013 frock.
Kaley Cuoco slipped into a navy paillette-embellished gown from Monique Lhuillier’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection at the 21st Annual “A Night at Sardi’s” Gala in Beverly Hills. Her dress is fab, but I needed more in the hair department here.
Also at the gala was Emmy Rossum who went for a retro-inspired look in Jacqueline Nerguizian Fine Jewelry and a sequin-embellished Tory Burch dress. She looks pretty amazing for someone who doesn’t use a stylist no?
Last, but never ever least is one of my ultimate girl crushes, stylist and “It” girl Caroline Sieber who showed off her gams in a black and blue ostrich feather dress from Christopher Kane’s Fall 2013 collection while at a private viewing of “David Bowie Is” at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London (one of favorite museums on the planet by the way). She’s always fashion-forward and that’s why I love her.
That’s all folks! Any looks catch your eye?
