From what you can see, what do you think? (Angela I Am)

    bow-down-beyonce

    • The girls will be simply indignant to hear that not only has Beyoncé dropped the first single song presumably from her upcoming ‘Mrs. Carter’ album, but it also instructs her loyal stans et. al (this includes haters) to genuflect accordingly. So, sound off! Are you feeling ‘Bow Down’? (Funky Dineva)

The gossip rag says the actor has started rocking Spanx’s ‘compression garments’ in order to tame his tummy. Of course, you can’t always believe what you read in Star, but it’s Monday, and we could use a little tidbit to feel better about ourselves. (Telegraph)

    "Ides of March" Premiere

    • Page Six reports that Christie Brinkley is eyeing the reportedly soon-to-be empty spot at The View‘s round table. According to NYP‘s ‘sources,’ Elisabeth Hasselbeck has gotten the axe, and producers are trying to find someone to replace her. Also in the running (allegedly) are Ali Wentworth and Brooke Shields. Page Six says The View‘s producers are planning on taking is slow with regards to finding a replacement. Personally, I think Naomi Campbell would be a great choice from the show– she’d lay down the law! What do you think? Do you like Brinkley for the position, or do you have another favorite in mind? I will wait til Angela’s actual product is out and I can actually see it.

Christie or Ali would be good to replace Elizabeth. I didnt realize the view had been on the air this long. I miss the old crew though. Lisa Ling, Meredith and all that jazz.

I wouldnt be surprised if he wore spandx. I mean the make it for men. Its just like under armor clothes basically when you really think about it.

my favorite part of that Beyoncé pic…is remembering the story that Solange in a rage destroyed all of those trophies to get attention from her parents as well as announce Beyoncé is NOT all that.

supposedly, she left the room in shambles and copped to her parents that she did with her chin in the air.

      true story. lol :-D

Angela – another clothes designer? Hey, whatev, she is doing her thing but my goodness.

Beyonce – Different, but I like…fun song, great from my running playlist. I like the chopped and screwed. What’s life without trying new things, interesting to see what else she is going to come out with.

Brad – kisses! We all get older luv.

Christie – she has certainly aged gracefully. I know the idea is that many white women age harder than women of colour, but women like Christie, Michelle Phifer, Meryl , Anjelica Huston, Sophia Loren, Kim Catrell, Bette Midler, Kim Basinger, Sharon Stone, Helen Mirren, Jamie Lee Curtis all prove that any woman can age gracefully.

Jellys – how are they coming back in style!! :(

Actually, I LOVE Beyonce’s new song…maybe because I’m an arrogant leo. LMAO. It’s definitely not “her” though. Seems like some “persona” she’s trying to create. Never been a Beyonce stan but I’ve always liked that she carried herself with dignity and class – this song might actually be a hit to her brand.

She’s def not “about that life”. I guess she can join Rihanna in the “loud as a motor bike, wouldn’t bust a grape in a fruit fight” club.

Rihanna is prolly freaking out tryna re-invent herself now that Beyonce is going for the “ratchet” gimmick. LMAO!!

Even the single cover is arrogant as hell and I LOVE ALL OF IT!

Angela’s line looks nice, but I’ll see what actually makes it into stores. However, the line does look similar to The Row. I like Bey’s new track until the chopped and screwed part. That went on for way too long for my liking. It should have gotten back to the original beat.

@Tiffany I agree with everything you said minus the part about loving the song. I love Bey but that shii was wack. I’m a Leo too but confident, not arrogant. You can still show strength & confidence w/o having your nose in the air. Idk why all of a sudden, this “I’m this ratchet, hood, street bish” persona but I’m just not buying it. Same goes for Rihanna. Ya’ll ain’t fooling nobody. Come to South Central LA & we’ll show you what “hood” is. They’d walk out like them kids on Scared Straight. Stop the press.

I think so many people aren’t feeling it because she’s being cocky and it’s so different,(for her) but she has always had a bit of that attitude in her. Usually she would drop a line or two but a whole song of bragging and stunting seems to confuse people. Personally I love it and I can’t wait to hear more of this album!
