Solange Knowles took to the stage at the 2013 SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas again, this time in a $550 Clover Canyon Rhinestone Jacket, matching $240 Rhinestone Shorts, a Marni Bird Check Shirt, and a pair of $825 Nicholas Kirkwood Elaphe, Metallic, and Patent Leather Sandals:

Her pink blazer features a notched collar, allover rhinestone embellishment, and a double-breasted silhouette.

Her matching shorts boast the same allover rhinestone embellishment and front and back pleating.

Her shirt has a contrasting black and white bird check print and a high-neck. Solange’s exact style isn’t available, but you can get a similar version here.

Last, but not least are her sandals which are handcrafted from black and white elaphe, gold leather, and black patent-leather, and feature snap-fastening ankle straps, and 4″ heels.

Agreed. Adorable! Not sure if this outfit translates to stage performance but undoubtedly cute. A cow neck blouse or cami might have been better underneath to give that pow factor.

As she always mixes prints, the top pulls the short suit together. If she had worn a plain top it wouldn’t be her style. I think she looks great, I wish I had the confidence to wear it as she has.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- I loooved Solo’s style last year, she pretty much slayed 2012 for me with her style….but she needs to change it up somehow- maybe a new hairstyle, work with some new stylists find a new signature, cos its getting a little samey…also, I think her body is BEAUTIFUL don’t get me wrong, but it does seem like she lost a lot of weight, hence the shorts aren’t fitting that well…..still a fan, but lets not become a one note fashionista please Solo!

To me if the shorts ‘fit’ any better i wouldn’t like them it would take away from the concept …imo
