Today’s Bombshell, Portia, hails all the way from Nigeria:

She types, “My name’s Portia, a lawyer with a passion for fashion.”

“I started a blog ‘Justporsh.blogspot.com‘ to share my love for fashion.”

” I don’t really know how I would describe my style…”

” but I can take a jab at it and say my style is Simple.”

” Various people, things around me, and events influence my daily style.”

“I try to look good and be as comfortable as I can be…”

“If I aint comfortable in the outfit, I aint wearing it!”

” I love clothes that compliment my body. I love trends but I don’t let them define my style.”

“You can also check me on www.facebook.com/justporsh (Facebook page) and www.twitter.com/pwettyportia (Twitter)”

Hot! I love most of your looks, particularly your peplum dress and blue skirt ensemble.

Hits and misses. I love how colorful her wardrobe is.
March 13, 2013 12:55 pm
I love it! :)
March 13, 2013 1:00 pm
Hmm…she looks like clarie in the third pic
March 13, 2013 1:05 pm
A fashionable lawyer. Nice. Nice looks here and there. CeraVe makes great body moisturizers for our black skin to reduce ashiness.
March 13, 2013 1:09 pm
I love the red and gold peplum top and skirt.
March 13, 2013 1:17 pm
Sometimes the look is randomly OVER ACCESSORIZED.
March 13, 2013 1:21 pm
I just want to share a tip for all my divas and divos on what works safely for evening skin tone and fading past scars/marks (body acne, eczema, pox marks, any old cuts and scrapes):
Exfoliation and AMLACTIN (moisturizer with Lactic acid) works wonders for fading/blending and making legs, knees, feet and elbows SOFT and EVEN.
dont do the bleaching
March 13, 2013 1:29 pm
I don’t any of the shoes.
March 13, 2013 1:32 pm
Typical. Nothing special at all.
March 13, 2013 1:33 pm
She’s a lawyer but her style doesn’t really reflect it. Which can be a problem in a field where you have to look not too bubblegum-girly, powerful, trustworthy. She should watch shows like Scandal or The Good Wife, you can be very stylish, fresh, young, and still look professional.
Well executed and cute looks but not lawyer/court appropriate even for Nigeria.
March 13, 2013 1:47 pm
hmmm, that turquoise bag annoyed me lol. but i love the African print peplum dress. i voted Not good…but not the worse we’ve seen.
March 13, 2013 1:48 pm
She looks fab :)
March 13, 2013 1:54 pm
Loving her colourful wardrobe. Happy to see a fellow Nigerian up here.
March 13, 2013 2:02 pm
Nice… I love her style, its simple and chic,

Nice wardrobe… I love her style, its simple and chic
March 13, 2013 2:05 pm
Nothing for me please!
March 13, 2013 2:06 pm
It’s stylish for Nigeria. It’s stylish because a great deal of people that live in Africa would give an arm and leg to have that weave and outfits. I do adore a few of her bags and shoes, but the overall look doesn’t seem to fit her age range. Some of the outfits are a little too youngish for her. My older sister is an attroney, and she wears whatever she wants during her off days, but her office clothing is a drag.
March 13, 2013 2:06 pm
Not a fan of the shoes, but I do love the outfits and the use of colour.
I love your necklaces, girl. Lovely.
March 13, 2013 2:07 pm
NO! Maybe it’s stylish in her country.
March 13, 2013 2:10 pm
Nice to see an african sister as always..but of all the naija girls i hve seen on bombshell this is NOT a bombshell.. i know she can do better…xoxo proudzimbo:)
March 13, 2013 2:12 pm
Gosh I feel like I see this same style all the time, But at least she didnt call herself “unique and different” like the others I see on here. She looks nice i guess. Her style is neither her, nor there. All her shoes look cheap.
March 13, 2013 2:19 pm
no! a little to youthful for her age!
March 13, 2013 2:37 pm
Hi!
I’m sooo excited to be featured here. It took alotta guts to submit my photos.
Thanks Claire.
March 13, 2013 2:41 pm
pretty girl
my favorite outfits are…….
2nd outfit – love the bold orange blazer with the high waisted skirt accessorized with the clutch
6th photo – cute
and last photo – very classy :)
love the use of colorblocking – doubt the trend will ever die
March 13, 2013 2:42 pm
I wish I could reply most of these comments individually but ….
N.B: ‘Lawyer’ doesn’t mean Boring neither does it mean Old.
Gracias!
March 13, 2013 3:05 pm
@JustPorsh
It does take guts, so kudos to you. I enjoyed it.
…would you like to send some of the neck pieces to your Jamaican sister in the cold north (Canada)… :D
Kidding…unless you were thinking about it. lol Keep doing you!
March 13, 2013 3:07 pm
I love how she works with pieces that compliment her and give a sensible and chic appeal!
March 13, 2013 3:28 pm
I like that t-shirt…
March 13, 2013 3:38 pm
@Soul Touch, thanks!
I wouldn’t mind sending them down to u. :D
March 13, 2013 3:43 pm
I’m almost positive I can tell what the people look like who always provide negative feedback. There’s a way to not like something without being rude.
I like her colorful looks; especially when it’s an ethnic motif. Some looks may not relate to my taste, but she rocks it well.
March 13, 2013 3:50 pm
She looks very polished and well put together (with the exception of the hair). But there’s not a thing to write home to the motherland about…
March 13, 2013 3:53 pm
nope….the shoes..i just can’t get over the shoes and the bag…and the outfits..she needs to run over to thirdworldprofashional.com or blogspot to see how attorneys dress. we dont have to see ur uneven breast pushed together…sweetie ur a legal body dress like one and have class.
March 13, 2013 3:56 pm
It’s okay. I’m not feeling any of the shoe choices.
March 13, 2013 4:00 pm
@labelwhorre.com, now u r just being plain mean.
U shldn’t make nasty n rude remarks about someone u know little or nothing about.
I’m a lawyer who ain’t practising yet so I can dress however I please. I don’t need u to tell me how to dress.
N.B- I’ve got gorgeous breasts! But u can shut ur eyes if u dnt wanna see them.
God bless!
March 13, 2013 4:07 pm
@ ms. u much: A great deal of people in America would also give and arm and leg to have her weave and outfits. What a non-intelligent and ignorant thing to say. Maybe you made that comment on purpose to be controversial? Africa is more than just Nigeria and, saying that, Nigeria is one the most thriving countries in the world. Google is your friend (your brain clearly isn’t).
March 13, 2013 4:09 pm
@labelwhorre.com for someone who owns a brand you should be generous with your comments, constructive feedback will go a long way. Same as I can’t get pass your jewellery. Just because she is a Lawyer that doesn’t stop her from showing her curves.
@JustPorsh keep doing your thing.
March 13, 2013 4:10 pm
I voted Bombshell because it’s a classic look with pops of color.
I liked the look with the purple maxi skirt, even though she’s breaking the 3 color rule with the shoes. I would’ve opted for a zebra print shoe but it still works well.
I think the graphic tee, pink skirt is age appropriate with the dark stockings.
March 13, 2013 4:23 pm
Cute girl and some nice pieces, but the shoes made the outfits look cheap. If she had better shoe choices the outfits would have come together better.
March 13, 2013 4:33 pm
Congrats on being an attroney, it takes plenty of hard work and determantion . I went to law school for a year, and hated it. The system is really set up for us”common” folks to fail. I would advice that you spend more money on the quality of your shoes. They are cute, but you can tell that they are cheap. I loved the braids, but the weave needed a little help. Great blending of colors and I do like some of your concepts. Some of the outfits didn’t reflect your maturity. WHEN YOU ARE AN ATTRONEY, PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS EXCEPT YOU TO LOOK THE PART.
March 13, 2013 4:49 pm
@justporsh, hun dont be too mad. Cause in the description you said ur a lawyer. But you didnt say that you havent begun practicing it yet. And most Of us know that a lawyer is supposed to be a bit more covered up and put together. So sis next time just be a little more clearer.
March 13, 2013 5:28 pm
It’s okay. Not a fashion bomb.
March 13, 2013 5:37 pm
I like her style it suit ms her
March 13, 2013 6:13 pm
i like that blue skirt.
March 13, 2013 6:18 pm
“Cut and paste style”
I’ve coined this terms feel free to use throughout any posts moving forward
March 13, 2013 6:51 pm
Just because she’s a lawyer doesn’t mean she always has to wear a suit.
I LOVE the first and last outfits. Both looks are really fun and flattering.
Also, I’ve looked closely and I’m pretty sure her boobs are even, and she has nice cleavage! So what’s the problem?
March 13, 2013 7:09 pm
Nice!
March 13, 2013 7:18 pm
Who says a lawyer should be more covered? Plenty of broke lawyers because they don’t have enough jobs and competition is stiff. She should wear whatever she wants. She just has to learn how to make it look expensive. The average lawyer isn’t wealthy folks. The days of corporate $100,000 are few and far apart.
March 13, 2013 9:46 pm
your style is not “simple” sista your style is fabulous! goun soun! hehe if my yoruba is correct
March 13, 2013 10:19 pm
just porsh…please take a look at thirdworldprofashional and http://nusophisticate.com and get a clue.
March 13, 2013 10:45 pm
@JustPorsch
Please ignore some of these foolish comments. What your profession has to do with your outfits….I will never know. You didn’t say you wear these outfits to court and it’s pretty obvious that you are not on your way to work in these pictures. I think some ladies are trying to “bring you down to their level.” Now lawyers are poor, lol! Please disregard the foolishness and continue to be great:)
March 14, 2013 1:06 am
@labelwhorre, u amaze me at your level of ignorance. Such anger, n y directed to me?
I wont let u drag me down ok.
U need Jesus honey.
God bless.
March 14, 2013 4:57 am
Okay…… @labelwhore who died and made you Queen? in as much as u are entitled to your opinion, but be inteligent about it. Your words show how shallow your brain is. I think ou need to reapraise youself cos I see you are hiding behind clothes. You probably have issues which u think LABELS help u hide. Portia might not wear all the labels u pride yourself with however she has high self esteem which u don’t. She was bold enough to send her pictures to fashion bomb daily and that to me is a woman who has guts and that’s all she needs to be a super woman. She may wear what u think are cheap today but I see a woman who is going places…….last word, RECOGNIZE.
March 14, 2013 5:42 am
I absolutely love the yellow/red dress and the kirikiri-star skirt. I’d be very happy if you would make me your “hand-me-down-child”!! :)
You look amazing!
March 14, 2013 6:39 am
since i know her personally, i would be in a better place to address some issues here.
your saying the look is to young for her… She is less than 23, how else do you want her to dress?
@labelWHORE Please mind the way you speak to people, sweetie you don’t need to be rude to make a valid point… u need to use the dictionary more often or better still watch more educational movies
@justposh you look fab and i voted boomshell… you can take some advice from the comments and leave some stupid ones

March 14, 2013 9:36 am
why are people talking about her age? outside of america there is a booming population of doctors, lawyers, engineers etc in the 22 – 25 year age group so how is she possibly not dressing here age. lawyer doesn’t mean old. and CLEARLY she is not on her way to court in these photos. relax. style wise. maybe too much accessorizing and i would like to see cuter footwear
March 14, 2013 10:53 am
I think some people are forgetting one thing, this is “HER” style. Portia submitted, Claire accepted, and now she’s here. Negative comments does not equal constructive criticisms, please let’s all remember, if you don’t have something nice to say, say nothing at all. Stop tearing each other down.
March 14, 2013 11:50 am
I pretty much like everything except the loepard pant and blazer look for some reason…you are pretty and would def evoke a compliment from me if i saw u out..do you booboo
March 14, 2013 5:27 pm
Label WHORE!!! If this is a way Of getting cheap popularity then u’ve hit the rocks… You obviously think portia looks good and u can’t deal with it. Get used to it…. But if u can’t, feel free to hug the nearest transformer.
