Why do they continuously style this woman in unflattering clothing! (I love her Aquazurra booties though.) She looks wide, if they had just switched out the skater skirt for a pencil skirt this look could have been salvaged.

I love the jumper and the way in which the model is wearing it – its simple and casual ! Not meant to be worn on red carpers

she doesn’t really dress to flatter her body which is a shame because she could be cute. the individual pieces are cute but a pleated skirt with this length is almost always gonna make her look wide because of her body shape. and adding the sweater makes it look like she’s hiding a tummy which is possible but do you want to hide or do you want to accent?
i assume she dresses in stuff she likes regardless of whether it is particularly flattering

I love Mindy, but this look ain’t it. I read her book and she describes the discrimination she faces on a reg from stylists who can’t or won’t deal with her body type. She may have better luck working with black stylists, or ones who usually fit black celebs.
