Justin Bieber took to the balcony of his London hotel to whet the appetite of his fans with an unexpected sighting. The pop singer wore a $98 Hype Means Nothing Total Four T-Shirt:

His t-shirt boasts the brand’s signature portraits, this time combining greats President Barack Obama, Jay-Z, Biggie, and Michael Jordan.
Hot! I wouldn’t pay $98 for a t-shirt, but it’s definitely a collector’s item no?
You can snag his tee at www.selfridges.com.
What do you think?

I am undecided on this image. I know that Justin Beiber does R&B/Pop music but he is still not a man of color. I find it makes me think that he is trying to say “Hope means nothing” in reference to the Obama campaign or Civil Rights. However, this may just be me being too sensitive about his race and mine (I’m African American). Does someone know what the intention of the shirt is or is it made to be ironic?

I don’t find the Hype Means Nothing offensive. If a black artist wore it you wouldn’t even consider it offensive. I like the shirt, but not for $98.
