Chrisette Michele took her talents to the Universal Music Group 2013 Showcase at Lure Nightclub in Hollywood in the same $3,560 Alexander McQueen Crepe Frock Coat Kim Kardashian wore last month.
While Chrisette paired her white version with simple hair and makeup and gold platform pumps, Kim opted for the black colorway and $575 Jimmy Choo Anouk Leather Pumps.
The crepe coat features an inverted collar, concealed asymmetric button fastenings, and a waterfall-style pleated skirt.

I prefer the white version, but I’m not feeling Chrisette’s shoe choice. It’s a beautiful piece…unfortunately neither pairing is really my cup of tea.

The white is a bit too tight in the upper arm, and in such a statement piece, which I adore, the black showcases the wicked tailoring of the piece….Kim looks Euro chic here.

Im sorry, the people that voted for Chrisette Michelle must be Kim haters. I dont like the dress, but I would say Kim wore it better. Women with knobby knees and thighs that touch should not wear skirts, dresses shorts about the knee. It just looks uncomfortable and unflattering. Sorry Chrisette :(

There are fit issues with both (Chrisette at the arms, Kim across the bust) but I prefer the white version.

I think it fits Kim better. If Chrisettes was a bit more cinched in at the waist and she went for a nude pointy toe pump she’d get my vote.

Kims wait is small so it just looks too elaborate. Where as Chrisette is well portioned to the garment so it’s carried out more elegantly

Christer. In reality the garment is not truly flattering on either lady, but I love the color on Chrisette. Howev, both are a lil too short to make this look work.

Am I the only person that see’s the button on KK’s boob? If you can’t fasten it properly it shouldn’t be worn. Chrisette’s closes perfectly w/out tugging. No hate, just facts!

I would say Kim except for the fact that her bust doesn’t fit into it. Black is the way to go on this peice though
