Free spirited, feminine, and fashionable urban dwellers are Alice + Olivia’s fictional heroines, and Fall 2013 saw them sporting a slew of rich textures, print, and tones. From patterned fur toppers to metallic biker jackets, burnout velvet dresses to tulle floor length frocks, the outlook for next winter is flirty with an edge–well heeled with a downtown flair.

Baroque inspired flourishes will continue for colder temps, particularly on prim skirt sets, bell bottom pants, A-line cocktails, and nipped jackets.

Plaid also has a moment on schoolgirl minis and suits, paired with patterned stockings and matching pumps.

Stacy Bendet also added to the brand’s red carpet repertoire with feather accented lace peplum gowns and hourglass shaped stunners.

Footwear and accessories truly stood out. Get into these lace up booties, zebra printed clutches, and face printed pumps:

I can see ‘it’ girls like Angela Simmons, Tika Sumpter, or Jordin Sparks rocking any of these separates.

Did you see anything you like?

@diversity i wish more people could understand that buying power in the fashion industry has never been based on ethinicity of the brand but creativity. I like alice and olivia and unless the designer goes on a rant about not using black models im not offended
