Mara Hoffman sticks to her signature aesthetic with a vivaciously printed selection for Fall 2013. With a cast of models as diverse as the designs’ patterns, her latest offerings make a splash for the season, practically wiping clean the slush-filled sidewalks of New York City’s concrete jungle. Well, in our minds at least.
We’re hit with bright prints right out of the gate on bomber jackets, silky tunics and trousers, flowing maxi dresses, and flirty leg-baring frocks.
The collection isn’t completely bereft of knits and outerwear, though the pickings are slim. Tribal print-trimmed tie neck sweaters, a couple of cozy coats in the classic color palette of black and white, a roomy v-neck tunic layered over leather: Hoffman gives some flair to the season’s signature pieces in standout and refreshing ways.
Leather gains more traction when juxtaposed with zippy prints and silk chiffon, giving us all some inspiration on how to wear the popular material even now.
Leopard has a little bit of fun on shawl-collar cardigans, asymmetric hem blouses, and more.
For the brand’s long list of fans (Kourtney Kardashian, Christina Milian, Alicia Keys, and others) there are definitely some looks that will get them noticed on an upcoming red carpet or onstage performance.

It is clear to me that these clothes look best on the colored models, (it even looks quite bad on thos white models, if i could spill my opinion), I love most of it (maybe not those leopard prints), especially the trousers.
