Max and Lubov Azria updated Herve Leger’s signature bandage dresses and form fitting separates for Fall 2013 with a flurry of opulent nature inspired prints, splashing close fit frocks and crop tops with golden zebra stripes, ocelot jacquard, and pink tinged cheetah patterns. Backstage before the show, Lubov Azria said, “nature it the biggest creator of all.” The design duo took to the theme literally, interspersing animal prints with exceedingly furry coats, some outfitted with oversized fluffy hoods.
Aside from its jungle theme, Max Azria did reach back into the vault for a few Leger classics: leather harnesses, peplum tops, and caged belts held in abdomens, adding a bit of edge.
Ladies who can’t get enough of the brand’s bandage dresses will revel in their new beaded and stud details, which add a bit of depth to the typical silhouette.
I personally loved the animal printed pieces, and can see anyone from Nene Leakes to Karrueche Tran wearing an abbreviated version of a cocktail to any of Hollywood’s hot fetes.

Cute collection. Could’ve gone without those hats messing up the ensemble.

Love love love the collection and people the caps are just a prop but actually fit in to create a younger and edgier look. Could see a Rihanna, June Ambrose or other celebs wearing things. Its a A* from me

Channeling 90s Janet Jackson (Rhythm Nation) and Eastern dress (skirts with pants beneath) in my opinion. I love it – especially the fur looks!
