    • Fashion plebes, rejoice: Tom Ford is planning on having a normal fashion show this season in London! The designer is stepping into the digital age, eschewing his usual private showings to a select few members of the press, instead opting for a real life runway show where members from all walks of the fashion community can film shaky final walk footage with their iPads. Ford told Times Magainze that the show is “going to be for 500 to 1,000 people. Photographers, bloggers – a regular, real show.” Why the sudden change of heart? Ford realized that is is not fiscally prudent to keep the masses waiting: “The company has jumped and I can no longer service the stores by not showing. So I have to love it and embrace it.”  It’s about time! (Telegraph)
