If you don’t already watch the hit series Smash, you might have a reason to tune in now! Jennifer Hudson will guest star this season, delighting viewers with the song, “I Can’t Let Go”, penned by Smash composers and executive producers Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
In celebration of Jennifer’s fabulous new appointment, I thought it would be fun to share 5 tips to look like a Smash Diva, taking cues from Ms. Hudson herself:
1. Play with color
From turquoise to pop pink to beach blue, JHud isn’t afraid to flaunt her stuff in vibrant hues. This also goes for makeup!
2. Have fun with prints
Though she’s no print mix master, Jennifer doesn’t shy away from flattering, fun animal prints.
3. Experiment with different hairstyles
Straight locks, bouncy curls, and alluring updos—Jenny has tried them all. Your hair is your crown and your glory, so try out a few different looks.
4. Don’t be afraid of high heels
A vertiginous stiletto is the perfect exclamation point to any outfit.
5. Stay Fit
With the help of Weight Watchers, Jennifer was able to slim down and get toned. There’s nothing more smashing than a healthy fashionista!
