Remember how I mentioned popping by consignment stores to get designer pieces for a discount in my “How to be Fashionable and Financially Sound” post? Well, A Second Chance Resale is a great place to begin your vintage designer digging if you’re in New York!
With two locations in Soho (155 Prince St at West Broadway) and the Upper East Side (1109 Lexington Ave between 77th and 78th), ASC has one of the largest selections of new and pre-loved Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Hermès bags, belts, scarves, and baubles.
I tend to have little luck when it comes to sizing in vintage stores, so I made a bee line for the accessories and fun flourishes! I fell in love with a Hermès belt ($399), Chanel Caviar Jumbo ($3,995), Fur Vest ($350), and pair of Giuseppe Zanotti embellished suede sandals ($299).
Not fashion steals by any means, but the pieces were in great condition and priced well below retail. Louboutin, Alaia, and YSL heels averaged $239. Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, and Versace bags started at $1,000, and outerwear ranged from $300-$600 and up.
There’s a lot to love!

They have a great selection of pieces! I checked them out when I visited NY. NY is kinda expensive when it comes to consignment though.

Love consignment shopping! My grandmother put me on years go to go to “certain neighborhoods” that may have vintage pieces and I always hit the jack pot there. I will add this one to my list.
