In October, we announced that mass retailer JCPenney was collaborating with print master Duro Olowu on a diffusion line and now lookbook images for the collection have been released. Teeming with the designer’s signature brights, mixed patterns, accessories, and even home décor, the offerings are must-haves for his loyal customers and anyone else who doesn’t mind being the center of attention.
Flirty printed frocks, chevron-covered clutches, tribal print vases: there is certainly something for everyone to love here. Priced from just $10 – $100, you won’t even have to break the bank to pick up a piece or two for your wardrobe or humble abode.
Olowu manages to replicate the dazzling prints and silhouettes seen in his runway collections: none of the luxury or glamour of his aesthetic is lost which is a pretty incredible feat.
On my wishlist are the collection’s retro-inspired dresses which are perfect for Spring, the printed vases, and perhaps a few chunky bangles.
You can get your hands on all of the above in March, so keep your eyes peeled in stores and online at www.jcp.com.
What do you think? Will you be picking anything up from Duro Olowu for JCPenney?
