The tea was spilled on Target’s latest designer collaboration with Prabal Gurung back in October and now that the release date is less than a month away, the lookbook images for the collection have been revealed. Chock full of Gurung’s signature eye-catching prints, loads of footwear, handbags, and jewelry, his loyal legion of fans will be very pleased, as well as any other fashionista who doesn’t mind standing out in a crowd.
From floral print dresses with ladylike full skirts to on-trend ankle strap pumps, the designs are both fun and functional. As you might have guessed, they are also totally affordable: $13 for a pair of crystal-embellished studs all the way to $200 for a blue leather jacket, which is the most expensive style in the collection.
Some of the pieces are clearly inspired by his runway collections, often looking similar to those we have seen on Hollywood starlets. Not bad for being a quarter of the price of his ready-to-wear creations!
My favorite styles in the collection are those that are unapologetically bold. Many things are on my list, but the floral print separates, lace-up print sandals, and point-toe pumps are all designs I’m planning to get my hands on.
You can snag all of the above and more in Target stores and at www.target.com on February 10th, so mark your calendars!
What do you think? Will you be picking anything up from Prabal Gurung for Target?
