Nicki Minaj is still heavy on the promo trail for the upcoming season of American Idol. She was seen last night at a California screening of the reality singing competition rocking yet another skin tight $1,350 Hervé Léger Colorblock Bandage Dress and $1,295 Christian Louboutin Black/White Watersnake Daf Mary Janes.
Her dress comes in the brand’s signature form-fitting silhouette and features a colorblock bandage knit.
Her shoes are fashioned out of watersnake and feature a 6″ covered heel and a 3″ platform.
I’m torn. While I’m glad she seems to have ditched her crazy get-ups (at least for the moment), I wish her looks weren’t so predictable. Baby steps I guess. But that bawdy is hot!
If you’re up for the splurge, get her dress at Nordstrom. Cop her shoes at Christian Louboutin.

She looks good but I agree with B about the shoes and the hair ( usually don’t like Nicki’s hair most of the time). Also wanted to say if I had saw the dress based on the model wearing it, I would overlook it.

I like the dress on her,very pretty . I agree she needs to tighten up her game on the lace fronts wigs. Sometimes the hairline is to thick, fuzzy & unnatural looking . Just because it’s weave doesn’t mean it should look like it.

I’ve actually liked Nikki’s looks lately. I do agree the hair has to go, but I like her shoes with the dress. I see so many people wearing different prints together. I think the colorblocking in the dress w/the polka dot Lubes are cute. I wish she would just do something about that wig…

I think from where she came from i.e. the crazy costumes…for her to go the “plain jane” route is a fashion statement in itself. Nicki looks beautiful and has a gorgeous figure. I agree with the baby steps comment.
