Frost, brebre and everyone else that said it was unnecessary for her to to this and that if it was RhiRhi it would be trashy…well I guess she and Rhi are now on the same level if you all think Rhi is trashy for doing the same thing. RhiRhi owns that fact that she’s uninhibited from the beginning so I love her for that, this chick just can’t stand when someone is doing it better and sexier than she is so she tries to follow in there foot steps. I don’t understand why Rihanna’s nudity/risqué factor is being brought up here? As mention she isn’t married, doesn’t have a child and doesn’t want to be trouted as America’s sweetheart/role model so I don’t understand the shade throwing. Say what you want but Rihanna’s latest issue of GQ where she was seminude is MUCH better and sophisticated than this one and to be honest more high fashion and editorial even though she wore 1 item of clothing compare to Beyoncé. This cover just looks like “hey let’s throw Beyoncé in something as little as possible and shoot” maybe I need to see it up close but it doesn’t seem very professional or thought out even for a men’s magazine. I would expect a cover of this caliber when she first went solo, not now. Again nothing wrong with her being sexy and uninhibited but this ain’t it.

Man I LOVE Queen B, but to be honest I’m pretty disappointed by this cover. Instead of doing something classic, high-fashion or artistic she went straight to “booty model pose” status. I feel like this is just another ratchet picture I see on Instagram on the daily.

I wouldn’t compare her to MJ at all. He co-wrote a song on world hunger that was an international hit. He stopped to talk about the rights of children during his Super Bowl half-time performance. He did things in his music, video and performances that hadn’t been previously done. None of these descriptions match Beyonce. She is a half naked pop star on the cover of GQ; I think we already saw that last month. I still love Bey, but she’s basic. I’m happy that she has found success, but this cover- no.

I’m a huge admirer of Beyonce and her body looks absolutely amazing (and yes I know photoshop was involved). However, I have to admit I was a little taken aback by this spread mostly because I hold her to a higher regard/standard. Clearly she is not the first woman to do a spread like this and there are far more revealing pictures in other magazines. But those women need those pictures to be relevant or have adopted that image as their brand. This just doesn’t seem like Beyonce. She has always done a great job with staying on the classy end of sexy, however this is a little racey. On another note, she is a smart business woman so hopefully she receives the feedback/ responce she was looking for.

Yes, Beyonce is a mom and she’s 31, but last I checked, she’s not a nun, nor is she a senior citizen. One being over 30 does not turn down her sexy, nor does having a child, and I think that’s what this cover says. Yes, she’s a mom, wife and over 30, but she’s still got IT! the cover is very terry richardson– google his work. IMO it works for quirkier stars but comes off very basic with the rest of them. the lighting, poses, fashion, etc…. that “Jay and Blue Ivy” set piece one is particularly lazy-seeming.

Although she’s in great shape, this pictorial doesn’t seem editorial at all. Quite amateurish. Also, why is she willing to now show her body? There were no pictorials of her when she was pregnant. Isn’t a pregnant woman’s body just as beautiful? like, flat stomach, under-boobage, and hips. GREAT! but pregnant body, hid in the hills with big-foot.

This is so sad that women now days feel they need to do this to be sexy… The fact that angers me is that beyonce your a role model. Not just to your daughter but too millions of young girls all over the world. And this is what your teaching them ? To take off your clothes for money ? And ppl call her Queen ? A real women values her body and respects her self too damn much to take off her clothes for money… What bout self worth self respect why don’t you. Teach that to your fans bey!

I think a lot of you are mad because you wish you had a body like this, yes these pictures are photoshopped so are all cover shoots but her body is just as amazing in real life it’s sad to see grown woman hate like this … Come on ladies it’s pathetic and its not like she dresses revealing in her everyday life this is GQ a men’s magazine stop the foolishness

These women kill me and I use the term women loosely. Beyonce is grown first off and can do what she pleases. She has always been sexy. She’s had her belly out since Destiny’s Child and there a hundred pics of her on vaca in her swimsuit. Since when does being a wife and mother mean you loose your ability to be sexy. She’s not squatting with her legs wide open. Yes it did catch me by surprise not because I don’t like the pics but because I’ve never seen her do a shoot like this. People were just as surprised when Janet Jackson started getting extra sexy on magazine covers. This is grown women ish being sexy, confident and proud of your body. Go Head Bey!

I agree with Terelili. Jay Z is OK with his wife & the mother of his baby daughter being on the cover of a magazine, looking all skanky like that??? Really??? Beyonce has taken risque pictures in the past (before she was a wife & mother) but these latest GQ pictures are just “RACHET”! They’re nothing more than soft core porn; unbecoming, tasteless & unclassy, particularly of a professing Christian, wife, mother, and burgeoning political activist. I wonder if the President STILL thinks she “couldn’t be a better role model” for Malia & Sasha? Sad.

Please show me one of their covers with a celeb in mom jeans and a long sleeve turtleneck. I’m no Stan but I give credit where it’s due. And as a 28yr old mom of a 3 month old girl, BEY did that!!!!

Spare me to the hypocrites.. because I do believe that when Brandy or Rihanna or any other (FAV)celeb was posted in a bathing suit on this site people were fawning over them. (Or models) in risqué attire it’s always “giving everyone life”.
Not a bey stan and I know everyone has an a opinion but a lot of the women on this blog just love to dislike Beyoncé, simple as that. It doesn’t matter what she does she’ll never win with ya’ll. So I guess once you turn 30 you should go hide in a hole…******Thank you! Agree!
