Just in time for the start of the Spring 2013 season comes the lookbook for Balmain’s diffusion line, Pierre Balmain. Shot in both black and white and color, the collection captures quintessential French dressing from coquettish jackets and mini skirts to tomboy chic blazers and denim.
The designs are both sexy and playful, baring midriffs and gams. Skorts and eyelet detailing give fun peeks of skin in ladylike ways.
Motorcycle jackets and blazers are paired with feminine silhouettes, giving a flirty and sophisticated air to Balmain’s signature silhouettes.
Denim shirts and jackets are uplifted by printed trousers and eyelet skirts for functional and classic pairings.
My favorite looks are those that are supremely feminine. An embellished sheath dress and a printed skort suit are too cute for words!

Balmain usually has pieces that make me want to clear my bank account. Not so much with this one. Hmph…
