I’d gift it to my big sister. She needs something beautiful in her life right about now. She is currently deployed (again). Once she returns from this deployment, she will go back to her last duty station (overseas in Europe) and then immediately change duty stations (overseas again but in Asia). Sister hasn’t been home in years due to military obligations; I know she feels like she is ONLY her uniform lately but she means so much more. I would love to lavish her with something like this…she deserves it!

If I were to win I would gift it to my friend Sherika. I’ve had many people in my life, family and friends, but when I met her 3 years ago, she showed me what a real friend was. She has been there for me through a tough couple of years of growing pains and has not only been supportive, she’s honest (sometimes painfully) with me. I didn’t think you could really find true friends once you reached adulthood, but she has been a blessing. Plus she is a fashionista so she would appreciate the piece more than I would.

This is simple yet beautiful. Since it’s so close to the holidays, I would give the bracelet to my loving mother. She has been so awesome in helping me through college during this difficult year. So what better way to show her my gratitude (other than graduating ;-) ) than to give her an awesome piece of jewelry!

I would definitely gift this to myself! I’ve been eyeing the Cartier love Bracelets which retail at an obscene amount (a girl can dream right!), so the Du Voyage Bangles which I never have heard of until today would make a great alternative!

I would definitely gift this Du Voyage Bangle to my grandmother as a Christmas gift. She has an immaculate jewelry and shoe collection and sparked my love for everything fashion as a kid at the age of 5. She loves dainty yet powerful statement pieces and I know she’d adore it!

I would gift the bracelets to myself. It’s been a long year between working on starting my own company and searching for a new position. I would give this gift to my mother she’s so deserving and works hard (overnight 12 hr days and sometimes 24hrs). She never spends anything (time or money) on herself. She’s neglected herself for a while and forgotten just how beautiful she is. This gift would remind her just how beautiful and wonderful is.
