Nicole Scherzinger was on hand for the X-Factor UK Finals Press Conference in Manchester, England. She went Star Wars 2.0 in a Jad Ghandour Fall 2012 cape dress, a pair of leather Gareth Pugh pants, and $191 Carvela Ardent Pumps:

Her sky-high 6″ pumps boast gold metal plating at the platform.
I don’t know how I feel about the cape dress…it’s a lot of look and I can’t shake visions of Princess Leia from my head! I do love the pumps though.

I like the dress but I think she should have worn it without the leather pants like the model. She has gorgeous legs and those leather pants are making the outfit “heavier” (for lack of a better word)

What’s throwing me off is that she didn’t really wear the dress as a dress. I second those above me regarding the pants. I think this would have worked without them.

Individually, I like each piece. However, together they just don’t work. And that cape just isn’t for her. Maybe it’s one of those pieces that can only be worn on the runway. I would love to see how another celebrity would wear it.
