• Derek Lam is adding a footwear range to his 10 Crosby Derek Lam label. Prices for the 24-piece collection will range from $295 to $575. The designer told WWD, “For 10 Crosby, accessories completes the playful yet chic look of the collection. The starting point is always with perfect classics, the foundation of great style. From there I twist things up to create unexpected surprises in the collection.” Sounds (unsurprisingly) solid! I could definitely see myself slipping into those animal printed ponyhair booties! (WWD)

• The Kardashians have once again found themselves in a pot of legal hot water over their forthcoming Khroma Beauty range. Last month, Beverly Hills makeup studio Chroma (with a C), complained the similar nomenclature might dilute their brand. But it doesn’t end there– Florida company Lee Tillett distributes a cosmetics line called Kroma Makeup, and sent a cease and desist letter to the Kardashians’ people back in June. But Boldface Licensing + Branding, will be darned if some already-established brand gets in the way of the Kardashians and their koins. The Khroma (with a Kh) licensers have unleashed their goons, filing a legal complaint against Lee Tillett. Boldface argues that Tillett’s label “consists solely of a descriptive term and lacks any inherent distinctive meaning to the relevant consuming public and therefore, is conceptually weak,” whatever that means. *Sigh* is the drama worth it? Perhaps the Kardashians should consider biting the bullet and changing the name. (WWD)

Jourdan Dunn is greaaaaat to watch, I loved it. The Kardashians should just stop acting stupid and just wear nice clothes to give me some inspiration. I love their style (mostly) but they’re just too stupid to be on the screen or be famous.

These other make-up companies are just trying to get their name out there. Since Chroma with a “ch” hasn’t sued Kroma with a “K” or vice versa over usage of a similar sounding name!
