Though incorporating a bit of animal print into one’s wardrobe is more of a classic than a trend, we’ve still decided to showcase readers who offer their own interpretation of the timeless style.
Feast your eyes on The Fashion Bomb’s best, then tell us: how do you wear it?

D.C. blogger Shella from TheEverdayCatwalk.com types, “ I can never get of enough animal print. Peep the blazer & shoes :-)”

Shane from the blog IamFashionWeak.com submitted not one, but three looks:

She wrote, “Greetings from Atlanta! I am an animal print fanatic!”

“… I am especially in love with leopard prints. Leopard prints scream, FIERCE, FABULOUS AND FASHION!”

Francisca from the blog Fancy-Francy.com says, “I love leopard print (everything from umbrellas to onesies), but ironically I usually only wear it in small doses. Leather is my favorite trend going on right now and I love pairing the two together to create a fun (slightly badass look). “

Like Shane, 7enth Letter from the blog What’s More Important than Fashion submitted more than one outfit.

She writes, “Let me say I am an Animal Print Love Affair newbie, turned junkie, I mean what girl over 25 isn’t, LOL! I truly feel like Animal Print (especially LEOPARD) is a neutral at this point. I like to layer animal print with bold and subtle pops of color. The combinations are endless!!! “

Keren, who blogs over at Two Stylish Kays, writes, “I am a thrift style fashion blogger based in Atlanta. I enjoy styling retail trends with vintage treasures. I love animal print and I am obsessed with sequins..so this top is one of my faves! Especially paired with my thrifted black ESPRIT wide leg culottes.”

New Jersey native and Philly resident Jeronica a.k.a Roni of Styleandpoise.blogspot.com writes, “I LOVE ALL THINGS animal print..like really, “I’m obsessed”! Maybe it’s because I’m from Jersey but either way, more often than not I am wearing animal print. In my mind animal print is a neutral and I wear it as such.”

Sheree from Tampa, Florida also made a statement in a snake print pencil skirt.

Lakeisha of Inlscloset.com sent over a picture of her and a friend, saying, “I always like to tone down animal prints with neutrals or play off the colors in the print. Animal prints are classic, fun, and an easy way to add some sass to any ensemble.”

Miss Rockwell of Thriftyandshameless.blogspot.com types, “I like to accessorize my outfits with animal print. Adding something as subtle as a printed shoe or bag can take an outfit to the next level.”

Inez, who blogs at StyleChic360.com, writes, “Here’s how I wear my animal print.”

And lastly reader Taj, whose idea it was to start this feature, submitted a leopard top with high waisted pants.
You guys really showed out on this one! Work!
Which look is more your style?
I think we’re pretty much out of trends to showcase for the year (save colorful furs…any takers?).
At any rate, let us know if there are any trends we’ve missed; we’ll be sure to include them for next week’s How Do You Wear It? feature.
Smootches!

Was about to start in on why I think this trend should perish forever and ever (not because of these submitters, though) and then saw Taj! The locs did me in but I like how she paired it with the plain pleated pant.
December 3, 2012 3:39 pm
Loved the looks. I have a statement snake skin skirt from F21 and an leopard print top from Ross. I love the flats and need to add that to my closet!
December 3, 2012 3:47 pm
I heart all the looks!
December 3, 2012 4:04 pm
I don’t know if it’s the high waist or the printed top, but the proportions of Taj’s chest don’t look good in that outfit. It looks like the girls need a boost.
December 3, 2012 4:05 pm
