Whoa dere! *Big Sean voice*
The Maison Martin Margiela x H&M collection flew right off the shelves, and by the looks of things, H&M doesn’t intend on easing up on their big name collaborations. So who is next on the list? If rumors are true, you’ll soon be able to shop Givenchy at considerably affordable prices.

Reports of a possible joint effort seem to have originated on the Fashion Industry Confessions Tumblr, and has been setting the web ablaze ever since. Styleite says we have good reason to believe this is true because, “past collaboration rumors (about Versace, Marni, and, most recently, Maison Martin Margiela) all came to fruition)”.

Could it be? Have my prayers been answered?
If this turns out to be true, it might very well mean all those fabulous pieces we blog about on a daily will be reworked at lower price points for our shopping convenience.
What do you think? Are you interested in a Givenchy x H&M collaboration?

YEEEEEEEESSSS, pleaaaaaase be true! I’m going to LIVE for this collaboration, I’m already expecting to buy most of it. if it’s true, this is great news! God, I seem like a Givenchy-freak! (which i may be)
November 26, 2012 1:27 pm
Yess! I’ve been eyeing those graphic crew necks for a while now and it would be great to not have to empty my wallet to do so
November 26, 2012 1:37 pm
If they ever! I will be straight onto the mens and womens clothes. Although I did also hear rumours of a Tom Ford collabo.
November 26, 2012 1:41 pm
Yes Lawd!!! @Clarah Tom Ford is great too!
November 26, 2012 1:43 pm
Tacky overpriced made in china fabrics that will disintegrate faster paper soaked in water. No bueno! But of course faux fashionistas will eat this shit up. SMH @ capitalism. Brain wash the poor to buy buy and buy some more.
November 26, 2012 1:43 pm
Great, now i can spend my hard-earned money on over-priced, screen-printed t-shirts!
November 26, 2012 2:28 pm
So we’ll be seeing more of that damn dog…
November 26, 2012 2:45 pm
Greatest news.
November 26, 2012 3:24 pm
I’m over H&M and their collaborations. Not only am I not standing in line like cattle being lead to slaughter, but I’m also not giving up my hard earned coins for garments that will be obsolete in a few weeks. PASS.
November 26, 2012 3:24 pm
It doesn’t matter to me either way. It’s not like they will sell them in the H&M’s in Cleveland. Versace didn’t, oh well.
November 26, 2012 3:31 pm
Nope!
November 26, 2012 3:36 pm
lol @AH! I’m tired of seeing that damn dog too!
November 26, 2012 3:40 pm
Wheeeeennnnnnnnn !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
November 26, 2012 3:44 pm
Nope. I am not here for this at all. I want people to understand if you go to Saks off the 5th or Neiman Marcus Last call you can get the real line for the same amount they are going to drop H&M quality product with a designer label on it.
November 26, 2012 3:46 pm
Exciting Collabo!
November 26, 2012 5:18 pm
Cool. I can’t wait to see what they have in store.
November 26, 2012 5:24 pm
Seriously want this to be true. But I’m hoping for more classic pieces and nothing overly trendy like the pieces from Versace.
November 26, 2012 5:37 pm
I’m with Lola. Keep the poor poor by having them try to keep up with the Jones’. Quite frankly, I’m not a fan of these collabs. Overrated && under quality. No thank you.
November 26, 2012 5:37 pm
No. I don’t even get that dog. Like I don’t get it.
November 26, 2012 6:59 pm
Well Margiela x H&M had nothing good so let ‘s see what this has to offer. I bet it’s primarily graphic tees and such…boring! lol
November 26, 2012 10:20 pm
Yes! I love their bags!!!
November 26, 2012 10:42 pm
My prayers have been answered!
November 26, 2012 11:35 pm
If this is true I am exciting
November 26, 2012 11:39 pm
Eh…I find the collabo’s are usually way over-priced. As in, they are almost the same price you can find the originals for if you catch a good Saks sale or stalk Ebay. I would be interested in a moderately priced retro scarf print Versace blouse. Now the Tom Ford collab…I would definitely be interested in seeing what they do there. I don’t see Tom putting his name on anything sub par.
November 27, 2012 2:11 pm
YES YES YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
November 27, 2012 3:47 pm
I would die :)))

I really hope this isn’t true. The MMM collab was actually awesome, but I feel that top designers are lowering their standards. Yes, I understand it’s all about money, but for customers who have loved certain brands and fashion houses throughout the years, these collaborations remove any exclusivity that was once associated with luxury.
