Rihanna switched on the Christmas lights at Westfield Stratford City shopping center in London in a striped top and pants ensemble by Acne along with a blue Raf Simons coat:
She completed with red lips, a red mani, and coordinating blue sunglasses.
Interestingly enough, Rihanna’s striped look debuted in Acne’s Spring 2013 menswear runway show:
Raf Simons’s eponymous line comprises menswear, and he thus presented this similar coat on his Fall 2012 runway:
Rihanna made the menswear ensemble girly with her slick hairstyle and bright lips. It’s certainly interesting and a welcome departure from her ‘Timberlands and a snarl‘ steeze as of late. Still, not sure how I feel about this!

What the haites? It is a fudging shame that she has no happy medium with her outfits. She’s either over the top barely covered or looking like this. I’m not sure if she’s to blame or stylist but somebody is in the wrong.

I am a big fan of Riri! and a bigger fan of men’s wear! I love the color especially the fit! Others might not like because it’s not exposing her figure but I am all for the masculine look all the way!

Beetlejuice, thats what I thought too. I don’t like how boxy it is, she could have at least tailored it down to more her size. I like the pants with the shoes though and the makeup is great!

Without being biased due to d insane love I’ve got for Riri.. I think she rocks anything she puts confidently and I love her for that.. Colour palate is cool, hair, makeup and sunglasses is chic.. But to be honest d suit is way bigger… But aint changing my love honey..

Would I wear it? Probably not…But all she did was “flip the script.” A minute ago you had all these male celebs wearing female garments, so Rihanna just did the opposite.
I like the colors together and I agree with an earlier post, it looks better when the jacket appears closed. It doesn’t look so Crazy Big on her. Funny thing is, I don’t hate it and I actually like the idea of women wearing some menswear pieces. Goodness knows That idea is nothing new!

I honestly think people need to keep their mind open when it comes to fashion. It’s artful; it helps you express yourself and what YOU find interesting. Who are you to say she’s wearing it wrong? Yes, we’re entitled to our own opinions but if we open our minds a little we wldn’t be so conformed by what society says is acceptable.
