I’m prepping for a teeth cleaning this afternoon, then a night full of braid removal.
Let’s solve some Mail Bombs first!
Denisha types, “Hi, I’m in love with this dress! I’m going somewhere special soon and I would love to wear this dress to show off my curves ;)”
“… I’ve been looking for this dress for the longest! And I know this website is the site for the best style and tips and for finding stuff you looked years for lol. Help!”
You know us! I searched for when the picture was snapped, and found Ms. Bailon sang the National Anthem at the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks game back in April. Her dress looked to me like an Alexander Wang creation, and after a bit of research, I found she was wearing this $475 Teal Collared Bodycon Dress by the brand:
It was available in April and over the summer, but not anymore:( Go to Lyst to be notified if it ever comes back in stock.
Josephine from the Netherlands writes, “Could you please do a look for less on Rihannas outfit she wore to GQ’s ‘Men of the Year’ party?”
“… The pop singer arrived in a $916 Calvin Klein Red Limited Edition ‘Clueless’ Dress, which I just absolutely LOVE but unfortunately cannot afford. Thank you so much in advance!”
For high fashion looks for less, Forever 21 is a good place to start. This Spaghetti strap sweetheart dress collection is $24:
American Apparel also has this sheer jersey chemise for $24:
The quality, of course, won’t be on par with Rih’s Calvin Klein creation, but you can give off a similar effect for a steal. Get ‘em, plus more options here:
Celina from Paris a écrit, “Do you know what bomber jacket Rita Ora was wearing in her video “Shine Ya Light”???”
According to MusicFashionLand.com, Rita O was styled in a fur trimmed jacket by Alexander McQueen. I wasn’t able to find her jacket on the runway or in their online shop, so hopefully a similar look will do. Get the look here:
Brittny needed details on Kim Kardashian’s fur collar coat:
She wrote, “I love it! Who designed it?”
Kim loves her luxury, and hit the London streets in a $4,968 Wolf Collar coat by Nina Ricci:
It’s sold out, but you can get a similar look for less with these:
A lot of you were into Kourtney Kardashian’s ruffled Miami dress:
According to her stylist Monica Rose’s blog, Kourt is wearing a dress by Australian Brand Cameo. The dress isn’t available as yet (celeb perk), but keep an eye peeled here for its imminent release.
Wakysha says, “In the opening credits of Basketball Wives LA season 2 Laura Govan in wearing a black long sleeve mesh dress…”
“…I wanted to know who makes it and where can I purchase it? Thank You.”
According to Yakini of RealityTVFashion.com, Laura was styled in a Mother of London dress, similar to this:
Get buying info at Mother of London.
Ciara screams, “I AM LOOKING FOR A LEAPORD ALL IN TO ONE CAT SUIT WITH BLACK STRAPS. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME LOCATE THIS ITEM.” Oh, you mean Nicki Minaj’s infamous Beez in the Trap GoJane Leopard jumpsuit?
Sigh. It’s sold out. GoJane.com has another jumpsuit, all black, with the same design.
Get it for $27 here.
Now for some Unsolved Mail Bombs!
Mechelle writes, “Need help finding this Jacket.”
Ashley and Micah were interested in Kim Kardashian’s velvet jumpsuit, with Ashley saying, “I am totally in love with this. Do you know where this is from?”
Alex types, “I am DYING to find out where this sweater skirt is from. I cant find it ANYWHERE!!! Could you help me out and tell me if you can find the brand name?”
And lastly, Gigi says, “Model Tae Heckard wore these earrings in Keyshia Cole’s new video, “Trust & Believe”. Where can I get them?”?
They look like they could be Melody Ehsani creations, though I couldn’t find ‘em on her website. If you know the deal, leave a comment!
I’m off to get these teeth cleaned.
Have fab days and stay tuned for more fashionable fun!
