Wintry temperatures have set down here in NYC and all I can think about are shoes! Though I should be focused on snow boots, my mind is wandering to sexy pumps and sturdy booties that I can dance all night in at my upcoming holiday parties and in London and Paris for my New Year’s trip. ALDO has just what the shoe doctor ordered with its latest Rise collection for Fall 2012, featuring eye-catching designs from Patrik Ervell and Preen.
From Ervell’s pumps and lace-up combat boots with rubber soles for your inclement weather needs to Preen’s sky-high platform booties, the edited selection features styles that you can wear time and time again.
If you’re in the market for some flashy footwear to stand out for your November and December fêtes, then Preen’s Rosann and Gillote booties in jungle and floral print are just what you need. They’re fun because they’re the total opposite of the dark and neutral shades that reign supreme for the season.
Styles in the collection retail for $180 – $195, so treat yourself to a pair for a little holiday splurge. Head over to www.aldoshoes.com to start shopping now.
What do you think? Any styles catch your eye?

I like! The ankle wrap shoes with the ridges on the sole…mine! I need to find a coupon code or something because ALDO shoes are not worth $180 to me.

I love Aldo’s because they carry shoes for my big feet. However, I’m not paying $180 for them, I’ll wait a month or two until they go on sale.

You guys have no creativity, I swear you guys need to see someone else rock it first to understand how to approach this shoe.

They’re too high and clumsy for my taste, but an interesting design nonetheless.
November 10, 2012 3:49 am
the platforms are 7 inches, yikes.
November 10, 2012 11:19 am
@Above Par, there’s no need to insult others because they don’t have the same taste in footwear as you. That’s the beauty of personal style; it’s specific to what YOU like.
Anywho, I personally don’t like the shoes. As a user above said, they look like cleats with a heel. Yuck! I love Aldo, but they have been missing the mark with me as of late. Their silhouettes, patterns, colors, etc. don’t seem to be as innovative as they were in the past. And these specific shoes do not warrant $180. At all.

Yuck

Loving some of them….
November 10, 2012 4:23 pm
Eh, nothing special. I don’t do Aldo. Just like Bebe, Bakers, etc. too many wearing their shoes.
November 10, 2012 8:18 pm
I hate Aldo! They might as well be called El Cheapo shoes smh. They never break in and they bust up your feet
November 11, 2012 7:29 am
Ugly. Tacky. Yuck comes to mind and they look cheap. I can’t see any classy women wearing these.

Aldo’s shoes are cheap and poorly made. Bought my first pair this year and I regret them everytime I look at them :(

:( I like aldo. But what is true is that they never break in. I like that suede blue bootie though. Just checked out kemistre.net. Those are some wack ass shoes!
