It’s all about lace this fall!
Jennifer Hudson showed off her figure before a performance at Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas (buck!) in a $2,279 Dolce & Gabbana white lace dress and $995 Charlotte Olympia Lucinda Golden Platform Ankle Boots:
It looks like she tailored this white dress from Dolce & Gabbana, which features a lace design, a high neckline, long sleeves, and a scalloped hemline.
Her boots have a 5 1/2″ covered heel and a 1 1/2″ island platform:
This is a classic case of a gorgeous dress paired with the wrong shoes! A nude pump would’ve been perfect.

This is not a complete fail… I Love the Hair!!!! love the dress!!! YAY!! but not with the shoes…NO…

The shoe choice would have worked for me, if she was trying do work a punk-glam thing. Add more leather in there some where and it may have worked. Other then that I like the hair and the dress actually.

I love it. I’m so glad that she went for short hair, another style would have been better, but so glad to see her look different. Love the dress not the shoes.

Ahh Jen and those knees. She needs to stop thinking she’s short. Your very tall with knocked knees so you need to be careful with the lengths of your skirt boo! She shouldn’t stand with her legs together in my opinion. But its an O K look

this would have been ok had the dress been black. but the white dress, bare legs and boots are not working, the boots are too heavy for this white lace dress.

Horrible hair. She does not have good legs and should avoid short skirts. I like the dress, but not on her. The shoe is horrible with the dress. I know what she was going for but this did NOT work…at all!

I don’t understand why she would chop that dress off so it’s so short! I feel like she is either trying too hard or decided to put on the two newest items in her closet regardless of whether they matched or not.

LOL @ Marsha D and her Jewish lawyer. I love this – head toe, Jen’s just not selling it. A lighter shoe definitely would’ve helped, but she’s just not THAT girl. Her face is beat tho.

I love the entire look. I think her stylist (or her) was trying to take this edgy since the dress is so feminine. J-Hud is wearing that dress and I’m so happy she’s maintaining her weight. One day at a time!

I love JHud and everything she is, but why she insists on wearing thigh high dresses/skirts with her knees and thighs rubbing together is beyond me! That looks so unattractive.

Love J-Hud but the boots are not working with that dress. Her make up look nice and the dress is lovely. Other than that, I am not too crazy about it. Maybe on another figure but not on J-Hud’s.

I have the sleeveless forever 21 version of this dress and I would NEVER pair it with black boots!
