Why be nasty? She obviously thought highly enough of herself to make a submission, and most of the comments are out right cold. I’m sure she will read the comments and feel horrible about herself and I just don’t think it’s necessary. I think her braids are dope; it works with the look she’s going for. Her style is completely different from mine and most, but it doesn’t mean she should be asked if she is a joke. Personally I am so tired of video vixen wanna be urban fashion. The trend needs to die. As soon as I saw the camel toe red shorts and two red braids I knew you all would tear her a new one. I blame Nicki Minaj. This chick actually has a pretty face, but needs to make some changes in her styling choices ASAP. To begin let the long weave go, sista. Whether it’s black or colorful, it’s a no-no. We’ve passed that and thank God. She would look really cute with a natural, relaxer-free hairstyle (i.e. peep the picture with the green scarf in her head. She actually looks cute there).

The braids are actually hot. I love denim cut-offs too (had to say a prayer when I put mine up for the season), but there’s a way to do it with polish. Boho doesn’t have to mean beat down.
She’s got originality though, which is more than I can say for 90% of the women featured as bombshells. Kudos on that!

Ill say this and then Im tapping out on this one….cuz chile whoo. Fashion is a great way to express yourself….people can tell right when you walk up alot about who you are. BUT sometimes these choices are not flattering to your appearance (or anyone’s in this case). Sometimes you have to leave the shock clothing to the celebs who can say screw that Imma do me cuz Im rich B….and sometimes they look a fool too. Riri stay looking like she needs a hot bath….. But you as a young lady need to be mindful that sometimes it’s best to select clothing that is better suited to your body rather than your style. Hell…I’d like to wear lycra and spandex all day but Imma big girl and know Im not built for that….so I opt to go with something that will look stunning on me. I will give her credit for submitting her photos, which takes a lot courage. With that being said, I see she likes being an individual in her dress choices & I love that kind of personality. She just has to find a way to pull it together & make it work for her. It could be she’s on a budget too, I see some vintage pieces in her look. She is a small size so that should make finding some unique & nice thrift store items that compliment her a good process. My advice, everything is a learning experience learn from it and come back better. Don’t give up on taking chances.

sometimes i wonder if the people are this site see fashion as a one straight and narrow path. Fashion, is supposed to be daring, and to me the more it makes others uncomfortable then good!
