You know Kim Kardashian loves leather! The latest additions to her wardrobe? A $795 Joseph Stretch Leather Pencil Skirt and a pair of classic knee-high boots:

Hmm…I am not loving the color palette of this look. Kim’s rust draped Lublu top just seems to clash. I do like the styling here: the mix of textures is great and I like the combination of silhouettes.

WHAT IS SHE DOING?? The leather fitted pencil skirt with thigh high boots looks uber try-hard, and the top should be worn with trousers, as it screams sexy. Not to mention it clashes terribly with the crimson red (and not in a high fashion way). Furthermore, leather with leather, doesn’t look good unless one of the items is a leather jacket or has been broken up with plain pieces, especially in your 30′s. All lovely pieces, but not as an outfit. Get it together Kim!!

I don’t pay a lot of attention to Kim K, but noticed she’s featured a lot on this blog. Since I see her everyday on the blog I’m noticing that she doesn’t dress as well as I thought. I agree with Brandi, the pieces are nice but do nothing for her when worn together. It looks a bit messy and not so put togehter.

I like this look on Kim until you get to the boots :-(. The outfit would have looked much better with a pair of nude pumps or she has some tan(ish) colored Gucci over the knee boots. Woulda been perfect.
