Though submissions have been slow for our new How Do You Wear It section, I thought I’d still kick it off with the following pix to motivate the rest of you to submit!
We’re beginning our new section with Lucia, Carmesha, AJ, Stella, Assa, and Charise, who sent in pix to show us how they rock Fall 2012′s Oxblood trend:
Stella from Jadore-Fashion.com types, “I am a big fan of oxblood/burgundy for fall. It is a great way to add color to your fall outfit without going overboard. Keeping it simple, I wore an oxblood pants with a peplum top, which is also another fall trend.”
Lucia of www.lucia-lolita.com wrote, “Just a few days ago, I attended a fashion show, and chose to wear my beautiful faux leather pants. I styled them with a gorgeous textured/bold patterned jacket.”
Assa from www.ciaafrique.com said, “I wore these velvet pants a few weeks ago. I decided to pair them with my leopard kitten heels and I am really loving the combo.”
Carmesha of www.ladilike.com says, “Attached is a photo of me illustrating the oxblood trend. Can’t wait to see the new feature!”
Charise wrote, “I’m in love with the oxblood trend this season! Here [I am] with my oxblood faux leather pants & a peplum top.”
And lastly, AJ from London, UK said, “My favourite party dress this fall is this gorgeous number. I am loving the contrast of the oxblood skirt with the printed top and I think oxblood is muted but still very elegant, a great alternative to black.”

I like the looks but I’m not a fan of oxblood colored pleather. It prefer denim or corduroy but that’s just me. Overall though the look is great.

I had to save a copy of Lucia and her fit’ but umm Imma need Stella to work on them edges..I hate seeing braids that are obviously pulling out ur hair..other than that she looks cute..
