Happy Thursday everyone!
This week has flown by and I am definitely excited for the weekend. The ladies brought their A-game this week at events worldwide from movie premieres in London and LA to boutique opening parties in the Big Apple.
Let’s see who stood out shall we?
Jennifer Hudson was on hand at the star-studded Versace SoHo Store Opening in NYC. She went bold in an orange coat with a silver collar, embellished sheer turtleneck, a leather flare skirt from the brand’s Fall 2012 collection, as well as a pair of $1,500 Versace High Knee Boots. Hot!
There wasn’t a lot of color at the fête and Melanie Fiona continued the all-black trend in the brand’s $2,130 Velvet Cross Skirt.
Kanye West was on hand in a pair of graphic pants from Kokon to Zai’s Spring 2013 collection. They look a bit like sweats which throws me off: I guess Donatella wasn’t worth getting dressed for?
Supermodel Doutzen Kroes was there with her incredibly good looking husband: they’re such a hot couple! For the night, she slipped on a $10,650 Versace Studded Leather Trench and $1,348 Versace Mesh Black Boots. Work Doutzen!
Last, but not least was Lady Gaga who was virtually unrecognizable in a Marni black belted mink jacket and black patent leather pumps. Womp. I’m disappointed.
Our President Barack Obama made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and had me in tears of laughter! This is the definition of swag ladies and gents.
More Marios Schwab for Naomie Harris! The new Bond girl wore another dress from the designer at the Skyfall Royal Premiere Afterparty. This time she opted for a frock with a black net overlay and embellished bodice from the Spring 2012 collection. I don’t like this nearly as much as her gown at the actual Premiere, but it’s safe to say that she has the figure to make virtually anything look fab.
Our First Lady Michelle Obama was in Florida, campaigning at Broward College. That print and that hair? She cannot be touched!
Kenya Moore stole the show at the Flight Los Angeles Premiere in a $1,740 Antonio Berardi Stretch Crepe Dress and those beloved Christian Louboutin Divinoche Sandals. Absolutely gorgeous.
Garcelle Beauvais was also spotted at the Flight premiere in a metallic dot print dress. Clearly, the ladies were playing no games in the presence of Denzel!
It was all about outerwear for Jennifer Lopez outside of the Charlotte Street Hotel in London. I am living for this coat: don’t worry, I’m on a manhunt to find it.
The classic color palette of black and white played on LaLa Anthony’s simple outfit while at a nail salon in Hollywood. She just loves her Christian Louboutin Unbout Illusion Pumps doesn’t she?
LaLa’s friend, Kim Kardashian, chose an asymmetric leather peplum top, crystal bib necklace, and her favorite Jimmy Choo Anouk Pumps while out and about in Miami.
Bridget Kelly went vamp at the Keith Campbell Decide To Be Beautiful Book Launch Party in NYC in a Diane von Furstenberg Pebble Printed Number. The hair is a little much, but this look is hot!
Tamar Braxton went for an elegant and pared-down look at The Paley Center for Media’s Annual Los Angeles Benefit in a $590 David Meister Sheer Sleeve Cocktail Dress. I think she looks beautiful here, but that lacefront must go!
At the Premiere Party of “The Houstons: On Our Own” show, Bobbi Kristina Brown looked pretty in an embellished dress. The black accessories here do not work: this is where nude would have made a world of difference.
Penelope Cruz traipsed through Bourget Airport in a casual look with her adorable son in tow. Loving her structured wool coat and studded wedge sneakers!
While at the DASH store in Miami, Kourtney Kardashian looked like a breath of fresh Summer air in a Ramy Brook top and $825 Gomez Gracia Palazzo Pants.
Last, but not least, was Eva Longoria, who looked simple and chic while out and about in LA.

Kanye pants look like illuminati got a hold to them, but i like Tamar dress, very pretty. i love First Lady, but i would love to see Mrs. Obama in something, like what Tamar has on, just once, her clothes are always so busy, with colors or belts on top of her sweaters. Eva Longoria look cute and comfortable.

@Aries..Yaasss!! I was looking at the star, the “ram” looking head AKA baphomet (the goat) C’mon, let’s not sleep and be all gully people….lol Tamar: That lace front is telling on her. The Obama’s clearly have swag and elegance to boot! Loving J-lo’s jacket and Eva looks very nice!!
