Just when you thought you’d have a break and could save a bit, Nicholas Kirkwood has released images of his Spring 2013 collection. Chock full of brights, cutout detailing, and dazzling prints, the designs are right in line with the brand’s signature aesthetic, though the offerings aren’t as robust as I would have liked.
Shades of aqua and blue play on suede platform pumps and mirrored heels, while scallop cutout detailing dominates as the collection’s biggest trend. It seems that gladiator-inspired footwear is one of the season’s hottest silhouettes as knee-high sandals are some of the collection’s most eye-catching designs.
Celebs are going to eat up this collection! I can see LaLa Anthony and Beyoncé in the frill platform pumps and Khloe Kardashian in the cutout sandals.

Inspired by: Carnival in Brazil….I usually love NK’s shoes but I’m not on board with this….this ain’t White Plains Road in the 90′s…da hell?
