Ready for Target’s latest designer collaboration? The mega brand has just released news of a collection with celebrity “It” designer and print master Prabal Gurung:
The collection is going to be right in line with Gurung’s aesthetic: print-heavy, modern pieces with expert tailoring for those who like to stand out from the crowd. Prabal says, “This collection was inspired by love and if Target’s guests can feel even a little bit of the love that I felt while I was designing this collection, then I will consider it a job well done.”
In my opinion, this is quite a bold undertaking for Target, as Prabal Gurung’s signatures are sharp lines, modern prints, and cutout detailing. The driving force behind the collaboration and Target’s choice is clearly his influence on the fashion and celebrity style industries, dressing everyone from our First Lady Michelle Obama to Zoe Saldana.
Expect to get your hands on a Target x Prabal Gurung piece February 10th, 2013. The offerings will include ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, and jewelry ranging in price from $19.99 to $199.99 for apparel and $12.99 to $39.99 for jewelry, handbags and shoes.

Very excited! Hopefully, I can find a store that will sale the items or have more than one size. It will also be nice if the Target website doesn’t crash.

Target sucks when they do these special collections!!!! Only certain stores have it and then they don’t have much.
