Bergdorf Goodman threw a serious fête at the Plaza Hotel in NYC to celebrate its 111th Anniversary. The who’s who of the fashion industry were in attendance, as well as a few musicians and actresses.

Rita Ora channeled Marilyn Monroe in a white silk halter gown with sheer panel detailing from Emilio Pucci. Yes Rita!
The bottled blonde made an entrance with Pucci designer, Peter Dundas. Ok yes, he reminds me of a modern-day Viking, but I love him!
Embellishment and mixed textures was the look for June Ambrose who wore a stunning halter gown with feather embellishment from Alberta Ferretti’s Fall 2012 collection. Not sure how I feel about the hair…I think a simple ponytail and red lips would have been amazing here!
Prabal Gurung dressed socialite and filmmaker Maggie Betts in one of his halter gowns with sheer panel detailing and a thigh-high slit.
Last, but not least were Jay Manuel and actress Nichole Galicia (who is starring in the upcoming Django Unchained). Loving his Alexander McQueen blazer and her mother of pearl paillette and silk tulle THEIA gown! Clearly, halter was the silhouette of the night.

June was getting a yes, yes, yes from me until I got down to the shoes. Not really feeling the shoes with this dress. That hair and dress though…love it. I’m tired of Rita Ora already. Hoping this isn’t a sign of things to come.

Junes hair is fun and different I like it too. She kinda looks like she stepped out of a different era or something. Anyway Rita looks stunning in that dress.
