After months of waiting, it’s finally here!
MTV has debuted the relaunch of their famed House of Style series, this time hosted by fashion’s #1 and #2 models, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls. For this first go-round, our disarmingly adorable hostesses take us through their Paris Fashion Week experiences, from walking in Stella McCartney‘s Spring 2013 show (which quehn Joan opens), to partying it up with the fashion glitterati at M.A.C. x Carine Roitfeld’s ‘Le Bal’ party.
The show is chock-full of interviews with some of fashion’s major players. In fact, this first episode boasts chats with Mario Testino, Alexander Wang, and Jean Paul Gaultier (The duo goes backstage at the desginer’s Spring 2013 show to give us a look at all the hair and makeup tricks of the show.), with appearances by Jourdan Dunn and M.I.A.
The models also give us a little background on their pre-high fashion modeling lives. Of course, we get the obligatory Trya Banks-esque tales of being tall and awkward as adolescent girls (both Joan and Karlie talk about how much taller they always were than their male counterparts).
All in all, it’s a pretty good inside look at what goes on behind the scenes in fashion. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that Joan and Karlie are extremely popular with designers, photographers, and the fashion set at large. It’s like getting an insider view of fashion straight from the insiders, and it’s pretty awesome.

Gives a good insight into fashion week. I wonder what direction they will take the next episode.
