• Just a month after launching her namesake magazine, C.R. Fashionbook (I suggest you pick it up, it’s amazing,) Carine Roitfeld is making yet another comeback as the new Global Fashion Director at Harper’s Bazaar. The Cut cites Roitfeld’s long standing friendship with Bazaar Creative Director Stephen Gan as part of the reason for her new gig. As Global Fashion Director, Roitfeld will work alongside Gan on “several stories a year,” to be published all of the title’s 26 international iterations. C.R. fans fear not– the legendary editrix will continue her tenure at the helm her eponymous ‘zine. Talk about hustlin’! Roitfeld is scheduled to make her debut in the March 2013 issue. Who else is pumped? (The Cut)

• Of all celebrities, I think most of us wouldn’t mind seeing Solange Knowles at the helm of her own label. But the 26-year-old DJ and card-carrying member of the fashion glitterati says we shouldn’t expect a collection bearing her namesake anytime soon. “Honestly, I would never do anything like that,” she said to New York Magazine, “there are so many talented designers that have such a massive skill and have been working on it for so long.” But don’t fret, Solo stans. The “Losing You” singer is open to collaborations: ”Kenzo, J.Crew are all my peeps. To work with friends is how I’ve structured my life. I’ve been approached a few times – it’s really a matter of the timing being right. There’s obviously a lot on my plate now, and my son is a high priority on my list.” Um… can we please make one or both of those collabs happen? Right now? (Vogue UK)
• Paris Vogue celebrates 1 million Twitter followers by giving the guys in the tech department extra work. The Condé Nast title created a scroll up graphic, outlining landmarks in their journey to 1 million followers. It’s as exciting and frivolous as you’d expect. (Story of 1 million)
• The Telegraph considers whether or not Victoria Beckham is pregnant, based on evidence compiled from various interviews and a “source” close to the Beckhams. The designer is quoted saying she would “ never say never about another baby,” and a source told Heat magazine that Ms. Beckham “didn’t drink at all” after the Olympics closing ceremonies. Her suspect behavior “led to some of her friends asking outright if she was pregnant and she just smiled in response.” Also, David Beckham said “We’ve always said we’d love a big family and five was a number.” All they need is one more baby! What do you think, bombers? Is VB totes pregs? (Telegraph)
• Diane von Furstenberg and Roberto Cavalli are headed to Australia this month to spread fashion cheer and hysteria. DVF will be in Sydney, presenting her Spring 2013 collection at the Westfield on October 24th. She is also scheduled to speak at a lunch organized by women’s group Business Chicks. Two days later, she will fly to the Hayman Island luxury resort on the Great Barrier reef to unveil a two-story penthouse redesigned in her name. Cavalli will be on hand for the launch of his Target Australia collaboration on October 31. Australian readers, any plans to catch either of these designers in the flesh? (WWD)
• Members of the fashion set will get a makeover this holiday season, thanks to Disney and Barneys. If you remember, Barneys is teaming with the iconic cultural brand for a limited edition holiday collection. Disney is creating a short film for the collab, “Electric Holiday,” in which Minnie Mouse‘s dream to attend the Paris shows come to life. The feature is complete with Disney-fied illustrations of fashion notables like Suzy Menkes, Alber Elbaz, Steven Meisel, Carine Roitfeld, and more, sitting (naturally) in the FROW. As for the models, expect to spot the likes of Princess Tiana, Daisy Duck, Mickey Mouse, and other assorted Disney stars on the catwalk. (WWD)

Solange has such the right right mindset, if only she could pass this information along to her sister and mom.

Love Solo’s answer. Although I would love to see a line from her, everything simply isn’t for everybody. Love her.
