• Chanel has released three teaser clips for their No.5 campaign (who thought a 30-second spot would need a preview?) with Brad Pitt.
In the 7-second clips, Pitt asks the tough questions: “Do you feel lucky?”, “Are You Going Somewhere?”, and “What’s the mystery?”, all of which he is slated to answer when the commercial drops on October 15. (The Cut)
• The Gap wants New Yorkers to brave the traffic of Herald Square, to take in their newly remodeled flagship store at Broadway and 34th street. To promote their new look, the brand has plastered ads on MetroCards, urging New Yorkers to “Be Bright” and shop at their newly renovated store. The card also acts as a 20% discount coupon. They are available at booths at the following locations: Grand Central, Herald Square, Union Square, Penn Station, Columbus Circle, and on Lexington Avenue at 53rd, 59th and 86th Streets. (WWD)
• Did Lady Gaga wear a full look from Hedi Slimane‘s Saint Laurent debut to visit Julian Assange? The folks over at YSL have not confirmed, but it would come as little surprise to see Ms. Germanotta in Hedi’s threads. After all, she did openly throw her support behind him in last week’s Slimane-Horyn debacle– I predicted a box of SLP pieces in her future. Looks like I may have been right. (The Cut)
Scary Beautiful (Leanie van der Vyver) from Lyall Coburn on Vimeo.
• Because high heels don’t slow you down enough, Dutch shoe designer René van den Berg and artist Leanie van der Vyver have teamed up to create a duo-heeled shoe. Instead of just one uncomfortable heel, this new fangled contraption has another monster heel in the front, created to “[challenge] current beauty ideals by inflicting an unexpected new beauty standard.” Inflicting is an apropriate word, I think. I could see Lady Gaga rocking a pair of these. What do you think of them? (Styleite)
• Here’s a full look at the ad campaign for H&M‘s hotly anticipated collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela. (Fashionista)

I really hoping the price point for Margiela x H&M is good.
It does look like Gaga is rocking Saint Laurent from head to toe literally.

@ babyB
I just hate when people say stuff like to make themselves seem more fashion forward! I shop there too, but no my whole wardrobe is not H&M nor do I brag about it. Everyone can’t afford MCM and shop at Bloomingdales…..
