We here at The Fashion Bomb drool over most everything by Mary Katrantzou, thus you can imagine the excitement at the brand’s collaboration with “It” denim brand, Current/Elliott. Spring 2013 marks the start of the first collaboration, mixing both brands’ signature prints on Current/Elliott’s signature jean styles, jackets, skirts, Katrantzou’s coveted dress silhouettes, and more.
The denim styles we have come to wear and covet are presented in eye-catching patterns including the Stiletto and the Boyfriend. Passport stamp prints give an international flair, while mixed geometric designs create a patchwork effect on swing blouses and snap-front jackets. Dresses are featured in an array of silhouettes and hemlines from flirty mini numbers to ageless shirt dresses.
Who will be wearing this collection in the coming months? Rihanna will surely try on the jackets for size, while I can see LaLa Anthony sporting the collection’s dresses and Jessica Alba and Khloe Kardashian in the array of denim styles.
