Monochromatic black and white looks are what’s hot for Spring 2013, but who says we can’t kickstart the trend early?
Dive into fall with the following neutral ensembles, all of which ooze effortless chic.
For look one, I incorporated one of this season’s must have shoes: Stella McCartney’s Faux Leather Embossed Platform Ankle Boots. I continued the theme with a Houndstooth dress by Martin Grant, and a two tone YSL Cabas tote:
Want to sauce it up? A tuxedo style jacket or funky sweater over a bustier and leather skirt should do the trick:
Have fun with accessories! I fell in love with Lulu Guinness’s Black Fifi Clutch, Lips Clutch, and Giuseppe Zanotti’s Rhinestone two tone pumps.
For a day on campus, try a white and black jacket by Acne along with coated skinny black jeans:
Wear a pair of Converse sneakers for the day, then slip into sleek stilettos for an evening on the town:
And for the super casual, I incorporated a host of pieces, including a $40 Varsity jacket from Delia’s, Markus Lupfer ‘Totes Amaze’ Sequin Sweater, and 3.1 Phillip Lim contrast tote bag:

Some cute looks. I have that YSL bag in the first pic. It’s a little bleh. Liked it better online than when I got it. Returned it for the camel like color.
