I was at the New York City Ballet on Wednesday, but I guess they lost my invite for Thursday’s 2012 New York City Ballet Fall Gala in the mail? A slew of stylish stars were in attendance at the event. Valentino Garavani designed the night’s costumes, thus Genevieve Jones paid homage in a black sheer-sleeve petal embroidered gown from Valentino’s Fall 2012 collection:
She accessorized with a baby blue $1,695 Valentino Va Va Voom Flap Bag and her own $575 Genevieve Jones Wishing Safety Pin Earrings. Genevieve finished her look with cherry red lips and a sleek chignon.

Queen Mother Iman was also on hand. Elegance served!
Fab! GenJo was a bit on the shiny side, but she looked totally chic.

It almost looks like she used the wrong shade of bare minerals and it created an ashy cover up look (This has obviously happened to me before). Otherwise, I think her dress is more than elegant and I would definitely wear it.
Iman looks good in anything but that dress looks like a slip with a cape in the back. Not too crazy.

This is what happens when you were makeup with an SPF in it with flash photography it looks ashy and has a grey cast but in person is fabulous. She just needs to hire a makeup artist that is knowledgeable about these things
