All that money at the same place, at the same damn time? Ugh

If that cover is not inspiring, I don know what is

Setting a excellent example for women of color, unlike so much garbage that is media! Now she is “very rich bitch” *In my Nene voice! :)

BOSS BISH!!!!! African Americans have come a long way. Who would have thought that 100 years ago, a black woman would be towering over two of the richest white men in America? Successful African Americans inspire not only blacks in America but blacks everywhere.
WERQQQQQQQQQ BISH!!
September 18, 2012 7:24 pm
Yes ma’am. Auntie O better work!
September 18, 2012 8:02 pm
Yessss Oprah… This gave me the chills…. I love being a Black Woman!!!
September 18, 2012 9:25 pm
Very Inspiring!
September 18, 2012 10:09 pm
Just to think Oprah made it and didn’t have to wear a chicken bone necklace or refer to other black women as nappy headed hoes.
September 18, 2012 10:21 pm
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
September 18, 2012 11:06 pm
Um, why is she standing up like she’s the ‘help’ over them? Why didn’t she get a seat like the men. *sigh* Does anyone see what I see? Despite her success, still perpetuated as a mammy.
September 18, 2012 11:30 pm
@ Yawn: Oprah requested to not be seated because she takes a better photo standing. All girls with curves prefer a standing pose.

Mammy? In that gorgeous royal purple, I see a powerful black woman. My eyes immediately went to her. Stop it.
September 19, 2012 10:29 am
I can not with the conspiracy theories. She is on the COVER of FORBES. She is an INSPIRATION. There is no conspiracy here.
September 19, 2012 10:34 am
@Kahalia exactly. This is an image we want to show to our children, and our children’s children.
September 19, 2012 11:22 am
i do appreciate that Oprah is an inspiration, but all that money between the three of them is kind of sad because there are people working three jobs trying to survive AND people starving. capitalism is a beautiful thing because it presents so many opportunities, but we need to find a better way to redistribute wealth. sigh.
September 19, 2012 11:24 am
it’s ironic that the issue is “the titans of philanthropy”
September 19, 2012 11:26 am
i guess it’s not their fault that the system is set up to make the rich, richer and the poor, poorer. mmmhhh. got to step up my hustle :-)
September 19, 2012 12:12 pm
BRAVO BISH (standing O! …) Yes Ma’am!

I must respectfully disagree with Yawn. As a bald, middle aged, white guy who is also a business manager, we are trained never to loom over people. Standing over someone communicates that they are literally beneath you. She is standing over them, her hand on their shoulders so they cannot stand without her permission. Her face is also the clear central focus of the cover. These facts make it clear: she is the big dog, and Queen over the ” old boys.” God bless her and her work. She is awesome and an inspiration to all people everywhere.
