Every season I get particularly excited for the Burberry Prorsum show. Today’s offering showcased that this still holds true. It was a collection that boasted jewel tones, capelets, a slew of metallic trenches, and decidedly feminine silhouettes, to say the very least.
There was also a solid showing of colorblocking, proof that if you were anticipating the departure of the trend, you unfortunately missed the mark. On a beauty tip, hair was loose and unfussy, and lips were cherry kissed.
If metallics and colorblocking aren’t your cup of tea, Burberry delivers a couple of ombre beauts that is sure to do the trick. The red into pink coat was certainly worth a double take.
The gentlemen weren’t left out of the fun either. Garments, much like the women’s, were injected with colorful doses of metallics, and tempered with darker hues that oozed cool.
All things that shined were golden for this collection. Who couldn’t I imagine in these flawless pieces? I can particularly see Eva Longoria and Jessica Alba doing them justice. As for me, I’m currently scheming on selling someone’s first born (surely not my own) to buy it all.
What do you think? Are you loving the Burberry Prorsum Spring 2013 collection?
